 		I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of Alan Bradley blowup at the conference, judging by the video chat. Bradley is smart, and there's no way he doesn't know what's going on. I'm sure he's upset and annoyed. Could be interesting.

Indeed. On one of the other threads someone had mentioned Bruce seeming kinda wooden. Now that they're trying to "trot him out" and get rid of his "street cred," it'd actually kinda make sense if he appears annoyed and distracted as Alan. He's probably aware of what they're up to.


Immensely, like they are forcing him out as CEO secretly, very Caesarlike. Also, Alan has this dilemma and the whole 'Flynnlives' fringe group biting at ENCOM, I think there will be some kind of protest OR Element of this group at the San Fran ENCOM conference to distract attention from the presentation and question, in person, where the heck is Flynn AND/OR Flynn is still alive and Alan doesn't want anyone to know/doesn't want to lead others to finding out the truth. Now that scenario would REALLY stir the media OUTSIDE, with us being the ONLY ones knowing this is a 'viral hootenanny play', and raise more good press about "Tron Legacy". Scenario 2# could be with Sam Flynn, either being a secret member of the 'FlynnLives' Movement OR a neutral player, coming to the conference and questioning Alan in public in an angry manner about either 'where is my father'/'you know where my father is'/'love your hair, what going gracefully grey shampoo do you use?'...LOL, kidding about the third line of questioning!

Agreed! I had already thought about the Sam interrupting press conference angle. And your thoughts about the Flynn Protest are right on, since they are already reflected in the FlynnLives forum http://www.flynnlives.com/discussionforums/post.aspx?id=23

EXACTLY! If want 'monumental hype' by fans at the conference, the 'protest angle' would be the best bet to get EVERYONE talking excitingly. And not to 'toot my soothsaying horn', remember OR for those whom did read my reply in the "ENCOM CONFERENCE" thread, here's a cut n paste of me being the first to think that Alan Bradley would show up at this conference....


I would expect we're in store for a few more 'cryptic information transmissions' from Flynn that will paint a more closer picture to where the actual conference for Encom will take place. Man, would be SO AWESOME if actor Bruce Boxleitner, helmed the conference as Alan Bradley, and discusses the current economically fruitful state of Encom and there's an unexpected disturbance....

 		Based on Sam's attitude about his father in the trailer, I don't think he'll be demanding to know about him from Alan during the press conference. More likely is that he'd show up being disruptive in a different way. I don't get that Sam resents Alan quite so much as he resents Encom.

Signs are that FL will be the key disruptor at the conference.

BTW, some of the content doesn't seem to work on Flash 9. The desktop icons do nada for me under Flash 9. (I'll revisit later with a newer system and Flash 10.)

Yeah, you are correct, they only work more properly under Flash 10, pretty weird that 50% works on Flash 9 and the other NEWER half works under Flash 10. *Sighs*

 		Anybody who can make it to the press conference may want to be prepared for a few things. on the flynnlives forum the skate guy said he was bringing his board, in the powerpoint like presentation on the encom intl. k. hardington desktop it references the beta installation of verbisware no later than april 10.

Crowd disruption - live theatre = awesome!
Attendees may be in for another scavenger hunt? flashlight - convenient long board or bike may come in handy
Attendees may receive some kind of computer software package?

if a kind User would please serve up any transferable data for those of us who can't make it to the conf. next friday i'd greatly appreciate it!!!

i bet i speak for everyone when i say that we would love to have the beta verbisware software!
as for me, it would be amazing that the release would open my eyes and see that the company actually exists in real life. not only that, i'm getting tired of going to people houses and fixing a whole lotta vista problems that they have....as a computer engineer, switching to verbisware would be a great deal to me.

Masterluke does make a 'new wrinkle' of a cool point, concerning MAYBE ENCOM AND/OR the Element of FlynnLives Organization will be giving attendees of the conference, after the 'disturbance' happens, some 'Beta ENCOM software'/'FlynnLives ENCOM Pirated Software' to put on their laptops/computers that will lead to the next 'viral mission' for FlynnLives.com ! If that be the case, MAN, 43 Entertainment are OFFICIALLY THE GREATEST PROMOTERS OF ANYTHING IN THE WORLD TODAY!!!

I definitely single clicked, I only double click after quick sips of Dr. Pepper throw a oblong straw protruding from my 1982 Tron Slurpee collectible cup. Hehe..

Cuz all the docs on the right side only open with a double click. It's a remote desktop, so it's behaving exactly like most do. Double click = open.

Well, clicked over and over on the first try until I thought my mouse might explode. Might try a reload. I can move the icons around the desktop though.

Also to note, this system is running Mac OS X 10.3.9 'Panther' and Firefox 2.x, which isn't the most current stuff to say the least. The system I use for most of such surfing is running Mac OS X 10.5.6 'Leopard' and Firefox 3.6.x - so as current as need be.
