I think you guys have been noticing this already, but the countdown clock seems to be all over the place - I've looked at it three separate times today and gotten a different deadline each time. The first time it was 1pm GMT on Thursday, then 2pm GMT on Thursday, and now 9pm GMT on Thursday.
WTF?

at 8:32 Tuesday it said i have 2:4:28 to wait. That sets the launch for Thursday @ 1pm. This is consistent with my posting from yesterday.

Where:
D=Days
H=Hours
M=Minutes
S=Seconds
T=Thousandths of seconds
And here's a link back to the VB Script code I posted for a countdown timer you can keep handy as a local file.

Oh my.. I have never face palmed this hard on my life. Thanks a lot.
Again, I'm so sorry for my stupidity and everything it has cost you.. But thank you again for your time on responding to a "trick" (or whatever you want to call it) question of mine.
Anyway, to recall, it'll start sometime at 9PM for me tomorrow (Singapore Time). Great. I hope those soaps on TV won't disturb me for waiting.. or worse: my brothers for using the laptop.. demmit.
EDIT: Now 3AM, Saturday. Good Lord..I hope I'm wrong.. >.<
EDIT #2: 6PM today..whatever is happening causes my anticipation to break loose now (which means to dance awfully, to be specific ).
EDIT #3: I think 3AM Friday dawn is final. (sorry for too much edit, can't wait xD)

As of right now it's showing one day and a few minutes where 'now' is about twenty till 8 AM central. Strange. Why'd they move it up?
Edit: and now it's moved BACK to 3PM.
Maybe a bug or glitch or something. I dunno.

Do you think they would put such effort into a countdown where the time is directly correlated to something users are doing? (e.g. traffic on the site).

It's correlated to the local time on your computer when the animation loads... Change your time, the countdown changes, but nothing happens when it reaches 0 if you do it this way.

They did something like that for WsS/TDK.
You could alter your computer's clock and it would change the countdown, but ultimately it's still real-time sensitive.

I'm just annoyed that I won't be able to play when it launches. I'll be at work and have no access to any site with FLASH. I'll have to wait til I get home to play for a little bit before heading off to job #2. I hope I don't miss too much.
