I do agree, though. I'd like to see more happening with The Man. Maybe the reason there's so much speculation about Masky/TTA now is because there's already a fair bit of OOG knowledge about Slender Man, but nothing else on Masky? Before Masky came into the picture, I was of the "totheark is Slender Man" theorists, but Masky's introduction added another layer of unknownness. Regardless, I want more Slendy.

Meanwhile I came into the series late enough into the game that I wasn't one of the folks screaming "WHERE IS HE?!" about Slender Man in the earliest videos... so I'm perfectly happy with Slendy taking a back seat to the current shenanigans. XD

I started watching at the end of October, not long after Addition went up. So I came in just before Masky's introduction, but still with people frantically searching for Slendy in entries. I like Masky well enough, but Slender Man was my first nightmare fuel.

 		This is highly entertaining, oh you MH crew - you do like to keep us guessing.

At first I was confused when you guys were going on about a date, I was like "but there is no 18th month!" weirdos. But then I remembered, you guys make it all topsy turvey.

It all seems a bit too obvious for it NOT to be a date really. I mean, its a day not too far in the future (but far enough for lots of tension to build up). The name in the contacts bar confuses me though, my thoughts would be that the number it was sent from would appear there - and only if it was a number actually saved to Jay's contacts would it appear anything different.

This suggests some kind of electronic tampering, maybe someone with the ability to affect electrical equipment? dun dun duuuuuuur!
Slendy doesn't do anything other than lurk really, hes never been known to communicate, so that leaves a number of suspects:

- Alex, Tim, Brian, Sarah, blah blah
- Masky
- TTA
- Someone new

My thoughts would be that the other Human MH actors wouldn't have the ability to change the way an iphone works - but Masky has been shown to interfere with electrical equipment (or at least interference is not uncommon when he is around) so it could be him. I mean, either him or TTA (or both, if they are the same) hacked into Jay's youtube, I don't see why they couldn't hack his iphone too!

Can't wait till the 18th, I hope I have the internet in my new place by then!

Ahhh, if only. "We were gearing up for the ending, you say?! PAH, this is just the beginning, you scamps!" I imagine that the MH group probably wants to spend their summer doing something else, this year, after all of this production! Like, maybe, not being around a computer for a while, or not opening up inboxes full of "OMG NEXT VIDYAH PLZ" etc. Buuuut one can hope. XD

@Distilled, I'm guessing that it's probably TTA/Masky. Like you suggest, the number up top is really odd. (Heeeey, they used 47! Trivia-based chuckle from me!) We've seen absolutely no indication that someone from the cast has shown up yet... if the person who contacted Jay was part of that cast, it seems likely that he'd make SOME kind of remark about it! TTA has been absolutely delighting in making his life hell, though, and sending a message to unnerve him more and more towards a specific date seems right up his alley.

I would like to say that we are quite metric in Canada, even if both systems are used and the government has said to start teaching both systems.

I also think that it's TTA/Masky who sent the text. He probably realised after J's last entry that he's keeping his phone with him, and then did the sluething to find his number. And if you go by Masky = Tim, then it woulldn't be too hard for him to get it under the guise of trying to contact Jay about the rebooted Marble Hornets.

Why are we not talking about this constantly. Doesn't this go right along with the theory that Alex somehow summoned slender man?

If we want to believe this, then both Alex and Jay have gone in to hiding (denying him) and now they will be tormented forever.
