Having trouble posting...

Oh oh! If they lead anywhere can I get credit for finding both Kryptos before the quote was in the third trasmission and pointing out the importance of the oscilloscope? Very Happy

I've got to say that the stuff MrToasty keeps producing is amazing! What did you use to get those images in your post above?

1. "linear not algorithmic" leads me again to a very scientific site (read confusing): http://algo.inria.fr/bostan/publications/BoGaSc07.pdf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linear_theory

Wiki is a little more to the point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algorithmic_information_theory

After reading the majority of both articles, (understanding very little) I find a lot of information on "Time Variation". I am trying to slow and speed up all the sound files we have found so far but have not produced anything interesting...

2.I also found this "Generalized linear models relax these restrictions, which are often violated in practice. For example, binary (yes/no or 0/1) responses do not have same variance across classes. Furthermore, the sum of terms in a linear model typically can have very large ranges encompassing very negative and very positive values. For the binary response example, we would like the response to be a probability in the range [0,1]. "

Basically, I feel this is saying to convert the large numbers we have into 1's and 0's then convert that into the algebraic equivalent.

3.This is the first video to not incluse the image of Kenedy. Now giving me the impression that the original photo holds no more information.

4. some of the melodies in the video have changed somewhat. Even a new chime is used.

So, I am trying to run the original sound files through an oscilloscope and seeing if they show anything. Then altering the speed/frequency. Although the clues may be more likely hidden in the new video.

I would love it it someone else would go over what I am doing.

Trying to jump in on this, but I'm having trouble with somd.com - seems the site is down?

I have a feeling that we got all the information from the site we needed so they took it down.

That or we crashed it...

I noticed that the audio did not loop this time. is that so MrToasty could screenshot it and do some spectrum analysis? lol

Referring to the new spectrum picture, I am wondering if "Freedom = 7" is a reference to the "Freedom 7" space craft Alan Shepard piloted. Search Google for "Freedom 7" and you get this.

http://www.freedom7.com/Welcome.html

I'm not completely convinced this is related, but it is cryptic enough that it could be connected.

No idea how 5+5=10 factors in yet, part of the reason I am skeptical of www.freedom7.com.

Man, after looking at freedom7.com though, how simple it is and how cryptic as well; it's gotta be related....

Ok, I've been looking carefully at Freedom7.com the images you can't see (the hotel picture & map) are separate .png's in and of themselves that can be found in the source code and accessed such as....

http://www.freedom7.com/Welcome_files/shapeimage_2.png

http://www.freedom7.com/Welcome_files/map-1.png

I've grabbed these images, flipped the map and here ya go....

*edit: Ok, this image is from The Capital Motel in Columbus, OH ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/dogbert10/3647609167/ )

*edit: Ok, upon zooming on this map, someone has clearly traced many routes in red all over and highlighted "San Francisco" and the "San" in San Jose in red as well....

Still looking at some stuff and will also be doing some reverse images searches on these too.....

The tones seem to translate roughly to the musical notes:

If it helps, the frequencies for the tones I found were:

200
800
1800
3200
2400
800
200

200
800
1800
3200
2100
900
200

If the MOD is 100, might it be correct to divide by 100, basically removing the leading zeros. Giving...

2 8 18 32 24 8 2 / 2 8 18 32 21 9 2

does look like a pattern of sorts.

Also, how does one go about recording the audio from gknova6 and posting it for others to download? Is there someone who could do that 'cause I'd like to play around with it as well but don't have any means of getting it into a .wav or .mps format myself?

Oh, the quote from Marie Curie leads me to believe the element Radium is possibly involved (as she discovered it)

It ls Element 88, in case that's needed too.

@SamuelofR247, It's here: http://gknova6.com/station_trifecta_01.mp3

And btw, when in doubt, the easiest way to see if a site is related to a current game is to whois them both and compare information. For example: http://whois.domaintools.com/gknova6.com to http://whois.domaintools.com/freedom7.com

@MrToasty, what spectrogram program do you use? As it is FAR superior to the one I've got. Very Happy

Hey, thanks for the .mp3 man! Yeah, I sitelogr'ed freedom7.com couldn't really tell if there was a connection or not....

BTW, I use "Sonic Visualizer" for this kinda stuff but just can't pull them from the site into .mp3 or .wav formats on my own lol....

Sonic Visualizer is to thank for this image, great program. Great find Mr Toasty, yet again! And to those who are orchestrating this ARG (as if they are paying any attention to us); this stuff is just fascinating!

Ok, I think I've managed to figure out those tones.

If you take the frequencies, and use the numbers as I mentioned earlier, you will get this:

2818322482/2818322192

By searching, these relate to the Atomic electron table - thus:

2818322192 = Uranium - Element 92
2818322482 = Plutonium - Element 94

That's 3 elements so far, 88, 92 and 94.

To this point, it looks like freedom7.com was last updated on Apr. 3, 2010. Are we to completely disregard the site anyway though?

The WHOIS information "freedom7.com" is odd...

Quote:
Administrative Contact:
Gorka, Gary ggorkaSPLATcoil.com

...who also owns "gorka.net".

And looking at the Wayback machine, you get some fun results...

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://freedom7.com

...So, unless this has been in planning for several years, I'm guessing it's not related. Either that or somebody bought the domain from him for this, in which case why not change the WHOIS?

Well, according to the wayback machine; no activity since May 29, 2007 until an update on 4-3-2010, the time period when this ARG started? There's gotta be a connection here somewhere....

Amazing solve on that! Great work!
