What if it has something to do with pairs?

The first set of numbers is separated in 2
There's 2 Elements
There's 2 of the 5+5=10, Freedom = 7 thing

Been looking at the co-ordinate locations given in the last movie.

Tried various combinations, no joy but for some reason the sequence of letters also seemed to jump out at me with varying words.

For convenience:

First is CIA headquarters
second is NORAD
third is White Sands
fourth is the White House
fifth is the Kremlin

Anyone left working on this? I'm starting to feel like the complexity of this is starting to work against what was originally intended... Rather than peaking interest it's killing it

I haven't given up, but I am slowing down. After two and a half days of obsessing over 19 letters, I am a little burned out. I figure sooner or later something will break, no need to work on this 16 hours a day. We eventually figured out "see the whole spectrum," with time we will understand this too.

Hello, been following this thread for a few weeks. Exciting stuff, this. Let's just hope it's for an actually good game. Smile

The number sequence, could it be a homophonic cipher?

I mean, all other ciphers seems to produce ciphertext in letters, not numbers.

Then again, where does "Freedom=7" and "5+5=10" fit in?

Edit:

I saw a few pages back that someone posted a link to an MP3 file on the gknova6 site. Are there any more to be had there? Would be nice to have it all downloadable.

Transmission 2. Transmission 3.

Transmission 1 is contained inside the SWF file itself. I've extracted it and attached it to this post.

Thanks mate!

Just tried running the element numbers through ASCII decimal, didn't really turn out anything.

Ok, haven't had much time to contribute today. When I checked in earlier somebody had mentioned the unit of radiation dose called the "Curie". Well, another unit along the same lines is the "MicroCurie" and coincidentally, MicroCurie is 10 letters. The MicroCurie is commonly used in household items that have minute levels of radiation such as smoke detectors. I'm currently trying to find out the connection but probably won't have too much time to delve back in.....

What about the first part?

I'm an admitted imbecile, I've done nothing to contribute in any way to solving this mystery, and honestly, I just stumbled across it and became intrigued with no knowledge that anyone had or would have devoted this much time to something like this. That said, just curious about the relevance of the first part of the 3rd vid, referring to "They used the earth's magnetic field, x, etc.."; What was made of it and what, if anything, did any deductions related to it provide in the context of this riddle? Thanks!

Yeah im only devoting so much time because of a little thing called procrastination. I have school exams tomorrow.
Yeah we all know that its gotta be used but we don't know how. We have solved several peices of the puzzle but some are left over.

Surely the chimes before the numbers are read out are the missing piece in all this... With all the the bits, the thing directly after M O D is the 'Means Of Decryption'

So we've got four chimes that get shorter with each one...

Reduction? Bells? Chimes? Note Length? Pitch? Frequency?

I'm stumped

That was my thought too, until i went back and checked the first transmission on the site (see lostthegame's post). There were 2 chimes after MOD and they had little to do with the cipher at all and were a redundant clue pointing at a baconian (binary) cipher. So it is entirely possible that they serve little to no purpose in this cipher as well. Note that I'm not saying the tones are meaningless, just that they might be. They are the least explored clue out there.

I doubt MOD stands for "Means of Decryption" it almost certainly stands for modulo. (i.e. A=B mod C; ZZZ.JNQRYD3.FRP = www.gknova6.com mod 3)

I see 2 reasons why the Quagmire III aka Keyed-Vigenere cipher is unlikely. 1.) It's too difficult. The keys have to be put in perfectly (singular or plural, etc.) and you have to know which key is the alphabet key and which is the passphrase key. 2.) The numbers. Why translate all the letters to numbers if it's a Keyed-Vigenere? (I did have a thought about that, it could have been a clue telling us that the 4 chimes should be thought of as "four" instead of 4, and that four was then the first key and chimes (or tones, notes, bells, triangles, cymbals) the second key. But all my attempts at that fell flat.)

But if it's not a Quagmire III, then what the heck is it, and what does the Kryptos quote mean?? I'm sure they'll give us more clues in the next transmission, just like they did with the spectrum clue.

Afaik the third section of Kryptos was solved with the help of hints left in the first two sections. I've been looking through the earlier transmissions a bit, but I can't say I've come up with anything.
