 		FWIW: The date on that letter - July 24th, 1961 - is the day the SECOND American went in to space: Gus Grissom in the Liberty Bell 7 as part of the Mercury-Redstone 4 program.

 		Anyone think that the name of the file has any significance? October 21st, 1974?

I have googled the date and I haven't been able to see anything significant.

 		I had the same thought. Only thing I could find on that day was Dale Earnhart Junior being born, and I don't think that is relevant.

Therefore, I am arguing that the file name is not significant.

 		Seriously? I recorded the audio with a bad program, though I guess I should have expected more. It certainly had the right sound for a hidden message.

 		Again dunno if it's connected but there is a Conspiracy theory linking Masons to the JFK assasination called the 33rd degree rite: Killing of the King.

This includes 3 (Trifecta) distinct parts all covered on GKNOVA

1: The Destruction of Primeordial Matter
(Atomic Fission as shown in the transmission 1)

2: The Killing of the King
(JFK and Mason links in latest clues)

3:The Bringing of Prima Materia to Prima Terra (Earth)
(Could be to do with space race, Freedom 7 etc)

This article gives an overview of the theory which has striking similarities to most of the clues we've been given so far ( and would also fit with an alternative history for COD;BLack Ops..)
