I wonder if it has the information we need to find the password.

I am bending my brain around that as we speak. It doesn't appear to be anything easy, and even though Caesar spoke the quote, it doesn't appear to be a typical Caesar cipher.

The 'yy' at the beginning on the first section says to me that the letters may need to be shifted around into a different order.

Or it's a Vigenere cipher, since Giovan Battista Bellaso was the true creator of Vigenere.

Notice that the phrase has 6 "words", and the number has 6 digits. Maybe use the caesar with key 5 on the first word, 5 on the second word, 1 on the third and so on?

Ok, well few things to figure out I think...

- Is the date at the end significant as a key, or is the date itself a clue to the key (Freedom 7)?

- What cipher? Vigenere? Caesar? Or something else entirely?

- Will I have enough coffee to last me the night??

That Kryptos one frustrated me to no end too. I was sure I was almost there. Right until I found out I wasn't.

I wouldn't doubt that they're working hard to decipher it.

I'm working on it using one of Bellaso's many polyalphbetic substituion ciphers right now and it's kind of making my head spin.

Hey guys, by the way I solved this hours a...
Ok maybe not.
Trying to split time between this and the new Tron updates, as well as attempting to be productive at work. Exhausting!

Frutrating......
MERCHANDISE is an anagram of CHARMED SINE ..which once entered in google image reveals a very familar games company logo....

Charmed Sign/Symbol = Triquetra

I dont think this is the solution ( tried all variants to open the RAR) but I thought it was interesting as it is A; the Treyarch logo being an off spelled anagram of Merhcandise is statistically unlikely , B: a good demo of how many blind alleys there are.

Yeah I solved it a while ago too, but i've been in the spotlight enough for this arg so I figured it was someone else's turn.

Not. I've gotten like 8 hours of sleep in the last 60 hours. I'm not thinking too straight, I can barely remember what I did 10 seconds ago let alone try to crack a cipher. Which I'm not that great at anyway.

Just a recap since I can't remember that far back:

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.conspiracy/browse_thread/thread/3cc6f4751a4c39ce/dfca45e1d0c008f0

"The conspiracy is the cats meow."

Led to: http://groups.google.com/group/alt.conspiracy.meow-meow/browse_thread/thread/d77d13e68c26d402#

"If this is not intended for you, stay out of this! No one is so brave
that he is not disturbed by something unexpected. "
Julius Caesar from Caesar's "The Gallic Wars", Book 6, Chapter 39.

Then a code:
yyuahrnqyf hcgi vxmly navgu ulli xmixo. 551961.

And finally an encrypted rar:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&q=http://rs700.rapidshare.com/files/383985365/551961.rar&usg=AFQjCNHbEHvcadn3BE0IE-c1B56SV6LEKg

And a second post:
"Did you get my MERCHANDISE?? "
ETA: Oops, dp, thought for sure someone would post before i finished writing this lol.
