Since we already got in the correct way, I think it's okay to post this.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The swf grabs the correct password from here http://gknova6.com/password.php then uses an action script to decrypt it, something rather easily replicated. If these guys are as good as Nighthawk surmised, this is a major mistake as there are so many easy ways to make something like this completely inaccessible. What do you guys think?

Ok, I'm not that smart when it comes in web programming. What does this mean, is there another GKNova thread going somewhere here at uF? I'm confused....

I'm referring to the only password we've had so far, the one that got us to the man sitting in the chair. What it means is with minimal effort we could have gotten the password from the swf file rather than following the puzzles. Well that is something they shouldn't have allowed to happen, it's a rookie mistake.

yeah...between that and the fact that if you click the same transmission button more than once it wil just keep adding another instance of itself...the one with all the music tones (5?) was awesome to do that with...sounded lke a fog horn by the time i was done screwing with it.

ANYWAY, the only thing they don't seem unusually smart in is Flash coding.

I would assume the AAA gaming dev team would be better at coding then encrypting....not the other way around. I wonder if they're launching a movie side-by-side of the game...that would make a lot of things make sense lol Razz

I am absolutely certain it does not use cookies or sessions to determine whether or not you need to enter a password. I've configured Firefox to delete everything -- history, cookies, cache, logins, site preferences -- once I close my browser. And GKNOVA6 has only ever asked me for the password once.

I tried to open GKNOVA6 in Chrome, but it wouldn't work.

It is a Flash cookie. Right click anywhere on the site, choose Settings..., 3rd tab "Local Storage". Set it to 0KB and close it. It will clear the flash cookie.

Well, to that effect take a look at the main TV in the center; it's been updated and what not but I just noticed, even though that microphone cord no longer hangs in front of the current version of the TV, the shadow of it is still there at the top....

Completing the document from week 5
i think we still need to complete the week 5 document

Hey guys!

I was busy yesterday so couldn't post this yesterday, but I think the GK logo we are now getting from the new gknova6 flash which someone put together earlier should be added to last week's document in an effort to complete it, as well as filling in all of the blanks.

I'm just not sure what the other blanks should be filled in with, but I think the previous transmissions.

Remember that a previous transmission lead us to a document, created by Treyarch, was addressed to JFK and had many blanks that we were able to fill in. I think it is the same case with this documen.

Dunno about you but I don't remember filling in any blanks with that document.

Careful, if you invent a way to remove black outs the CIA will be after you Rolling Eyes

I disagree. I believe the document is complete already. All we must do now is wait for either an update to gknova6.com or communication from the PMs.

I lol'd

Maybe you guys didn't complete the document on this forum... I'll look for a link to the completed document on the CODzombies forum to show what I'm talking about.

But the document that spelled out TREYARCH was obviously made by treyarch as well as this GKNOVA document.

...can't find the image I've seen before with it fille out, but this link: http://callofdutyzombies.com/home/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=90&Itemid=113
shows how they are filled in

tought i'd give codz a head start...
but i think this is very significant...
i was looking at the screen on gknova and changed storage to 0kb as someone here suggested...
after that i just looked at the screen for a moment to see if there was any difference...
and i noticed the gk logo on the tv changes at the same time that little tv to the left of it changes(the one with all the squigly smoke looking lines...
maybe it does actually say something or translates to something somehow...
