It's just the beeps you hear behind the breathing and heart monitor.

I've looked into it and have been unable to find anything significant, but maybe you can make something of it.

 		Kinda felt like this crap was just a matter of time anyway. With the "sorts" this game has been attracting and all the time left in between updates for it to fester, it's really no wonder this kinda thing happened. That's obvious to me and I'm fairly new to this stuff...

Indeed they did. The dragons breath clue NNTP posting iP address came from "Los Angeles" but I'd guess closer to this address:

This all just confirms Treyarch's involvement, and ends speculation that the TREYARCH in one of the docs was a red herring.

If you look at this page from the CoD:BO article...

...you'll notice that the "Dragon's Breath" is mentioned as a WEAPON: a shotgun with incendiary rounds.



You see, *that* is sufficient confirmation for me: the ARG uses a term that nobody knows about and is later revealed in a public article.

Amidst these gamejackers and all kinds of what not you'll have to excuse me if I currently do not believe any direction that any clues point to so far. The only thing I "believe" in right now about gknova6 is the phrase from the beginning; "Don't believe everything you see". That phrase seems to hold the most water for me right now....

 		Got my hopes up when I saw 3 pages worth of posts.....

I think the TREYARCH document and the Activision host registrar is the only solid evidence about who's behind this so we'll have to just apply Occams razor in leu of any more solid info.

(TREYARCH in the GKNOVA doc is as solid as it will probably get as the chances of this occuring, in proper context, are astronomically unlikely)

The issue (as I have always stated) is the timing as either we've cracked the codes too quickly ( unlikely as we had the 5/5/10 date) or Treyarch have planned a massive amount of puzzle solving to keep us going untill November and this is a planned "break" as they put the next parts together.


The whole site switcharound thing has got me thinking that they maybe changed course on this and are now frantically trying to piece something together as they realise people arent going to spend 6 mths fannying around on GKNOVA6..

Edit :

If seasoned ARG'ers could answer the following q's it might help us to understand:

How long before the reveal of the final product does an ARG typically start???
Is it usual to end an ARG a number of months before the launch of the product it is promoting??
Is it usual to suddenly have a pause in the ARG when the game has been regularily updated up until that point???
