I'm hoping you're avoiding touching it? ^^ very reflective substance as well as being thick. Elastic properties are high. I'd just write down all your observations.

First time post. I'm neither a Pawn or a Hermes but i've been followed this new campaign awhile now from 2k forum and i don't think he/she shouldn't touch it either. I agreed with you on that because it could be radioactive. I wish i've gotten the package and letter, but i don't.

This looks cool, going to watch. Wish I had access to the main site, though.
Also, guys, I really don't think 2K games is going to ship out radioactive/harmful slime to their customers.... come on.

I've been playing with the stuff all weekend and so far I'm finding the extra fingers really useful.

I'm an outsider just looking in and get a sense of it all about this new campaign and why there's two places that holds this discussion. Because i've been spending alot of my time over at 2k forum. Are any of you Hermes members and Pawns members?. And what did you do to became a Hermes?. I think i know how to for the Pawn but not Hermes.
I like your thoughts on this, thank you.

First, regarding the assumption of these cases being murders. . .

Internally, we are referring to such incidents as PHENOMENON-RELATED DEATHS, a.k.a. "PRDs".

newby trying to get in on the action here
not sure if anyone checked into the webaddress as a phone number... i saw where someone had called it, and have even called it myself.
anyway i ran a reverse lookup on the number and it originates from a landline in Westchester DC which coincides with the zip-code form the envelopes.
the only thing of real intrest in westchester is the Naval observatory... and the American university

So, obviously can't be sure if it's relevant or not, BUT, 2K just announced that they're making a new X-com game....
http://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/12144571620
and it seems like this might be the source for our ARG.
For those who don't know, X-Com (sometimes subtitled: UFO Defense) is a series of games from the 90's where you take the role of a government agency investigating and combating alien incursions into earth.
You have scientists, engineers, and you collect the things aliens leave behind to research them and learn more about them so.... yes, this seems like it could be relevant. Not making any 'ZOMG THIS IS IT, GUYS!' type claims, and I've been wrong before, but it seems to have potential.

It has been confirmed that the ARG is for the new X-COM game. The thread on the 2K site has been moved from the Bioshock forum to an X-COM forum. So....we have aliens folks!
