It's interesting that Slendy-obsessed Tim was attached to Alex's Slendy-plagued project by accident...

Of course, I don't know how that timeline looks. Maybe Alex and Brian were into SM, and Tim had to learn some tricks to stay safe. Maybe Brian was into SM, spread it to Alex, and Tim escaped. Maybe Tim brought SM down on Alex. Or maybe J started everything, and Tim was the only one who got out alive. Wink So many possibilities!

I've been thinking of it as Brian's house since Entry 20. I thought it was Alex's before because it seemed to have a similar layout and features to Alex's home clips.

I also think that Jay himself doesn't know. He's had ample time to say something like that and hasn't, especially with so many people asking if he recognised the house. I know he hasn't responded to anything other than inquiries about his name, but I think it's just that he doesn't know or remember the house.

Ah, yes we did. You're right again Dray. I'd completely forgotten we saw Brian there. I was working on the assumption that he'd been referred to but never seen.

Origin of the creepy house

Just because Jay doesn't mention something that seems obvious doesn't mean that he's not aware of it. I think that because it IS so obvious, he doesn't want to waste time pointing it out, maybe?

I don't think it is obvious, to Jay at least. He says how he heard from a tip where Alex might be. He also constantly refers to the place ambiguously, as if it was just a random house. I seriously think he doesn't know.

Hmm, he does refer to it ambiguously... however it could be that Jay is uncertain about what happened to Brian, or anybody in the house, for that matter, so he's not sure what to call it? Maybe he has some sort of respect for the missing, or maybe he just refers to creepy, abandoned places without placing a person's name beforehand. Razz

I could've sworn that J referred to the house as "Brian's house" on Twitter before, but I can't find the tweet now. Maybe I'm imagining things.

Either way, it's definitely Brian's house. Entry #20 confirms it. Whether the Alex videos are supposed to be taking place in the same house IG is unknown, but I don't think it's an unreasonable connection to make. We DO see another house in Entry #3, so it makes sense that that house was Alex's and that he just moved in with Brian at some point to get away from Slendy.

Personally, I'm 99.98% certain that the mysterious house is/was Brian's. Now that I look back, the layout is indeed almost identical (from what we can see of it in #20), but what I noticed right away was the fact that in the aforementioned entry (where Alex specifically states they're at Brian's house), the couch they're sitting on has exactly the same fabric pattern as the overturned couch in the creepy house Jay visits. Check #16 at around 2:20 and compare it with the couch Alex is lounging on in #20.

From an out of game opinion, most houses in a neighborhood are usually built with the same architecture.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.
