The best way to make your thread starting post sound like a good idea is to contribute to what you want the thread to be about. That way, people can see your example and join in.

These have the card number, the difficulty rating, what type of puzzle I think it is, how to solve it, and the full solution - most of the time the solution you need to enter online isn't the full solution.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
#1 - 2 - Substitution cipher, A=1 - "Tag! You are it. This is a surveillance bug. To monitor other Cahills, pass the bug on."

#3 - 1 - Purposefully vague map, Street & landmark names identify the city - "Paris, France"

#4 - 2 - Word scramble, The Cahill last name can only be made in one of the circled names - "Anne Cahill, Deck B Cabin 77"

#11 - 4 - Simple sheet music code, The letter names of the circled notes spell out words with the bar lines acting as spaces - "Dead aged face"

#15 - 3 - Substitution cypher, Translate from Morse Code then B=A - "Let them think you drowned."

#16 - 1 - Color blindness test, Read the word made by the pattern in the colors - "Spencer"

#17 - 1 - Highlighted letter message, write out the highlighted letters adding spaces where it makes the most sense - "Kabras busy in Europe monitor Janus in India"

#28 - 3 - Connect the letters puzzle, solution directions on the card - "Password is dragon"

#29 - 1 - Signal flag, key on back of card - "Ekats got us"

#32 - 2 - Rube Goldberg machine, follow the effects through the machine from the start - The machine plunges the toilet.

#33 - 1 - Hidden word scramble, the sushi makes the letters - "Bald rat"

#41 - 4 - Paper folding puzzle & jumbled sentence, print out and fold on the creases - "James Cahill is not a Lucian"

#43 - 3 - Substitution cipher, A=S - "Ekats have Amber Room"

#48 - 2 - Magic box, Leftmost column gives the total of 260 - "20, 62, 44, 6, 7, 40, 18, 32"

#50 - 4 - Hidden substitution cipher, Receipt and shopping list numbers spell words A=1 - "Kabras branch leaders"

#54 - 2 - Distance puzzle, trial and error - Anchorage to Stony River, Uninc Bethel Borough to Iditarod, Uninc Yukon-Koyukuk Borough to Kaltag to Koyuk to Nome 5.6 days

#58 - 1 - Constellation puzzle, look up whatever's easiest to see - "Northern Hemisphere"

#62 - 2 - Logic puzzle, use the provided grid - Alistair~Ekat~Korean, Lam~Janus~Australian, Alana~Lucian~American, Paul~Tomas~Scottish

#86 - 3 - Book title puzzle, continue the pattern of circling the letter one letter lower from the last - "Hollywood"

#91 - 3 - Misprint puzzle, write out all the letters in the numbers around the picture adding spaces as needed - "No clue here"

#94 - 1 - Substitution cipher, use the answer sheet on the back of the card - "Anastasia lived"

#97 - 1 - Color matching puzzle, match the colored joint connecters together to what the robot is - It's a dog.

My card #3, Catacombs, does not allow me to put an answer into the digital card to "solve" the puzzle. This seems odd, because there is a puzzle ranking symbol on the physical card.

Has anyone been able to "solve" this puzzle and get the "SOLVED" indication on their virtual card?

 Card 28
other answer?

When I got card 28 (CERN), I got 'plan for disaster' as the answer and I was correct.

I think the puzzle ranking symbol #1 in the corner is just for the physical card, and not an online puzzle where you can put the answer.
I don't see a place to put an answer.

Sadly, my finances are limited and keeping up my card collection and with this series is one of the things that has fallen by the wayside.

There's nothing preventing anyone else from taking the info I've listed and adding everything that's come since then.

Forums thrive through active participation by as many as possible.
