Fighter Jet Flyover
should I be worried?

Yesterday afternoon about 4 pm two US fighter jets passed by. Don't know where they were heading, but wondering if anyone heard of an alert?

Last time a fighter plane flew near anywhere I lived was September 2001 - and I lived in Florida... Shocked

It would probably be helpful if you mentioned where you were.

I'd venture to say it was a flyover for one of the football games or something. That happens every so often in Austin when the Longhorns make the finals and gives me a start.
