Elsewhere Numismatic Society protip: it's about coin collecting. Any guesses on what's going to happen when the clock hits zero?

If you read the fine print (as you always should) you'll notice it is impossible to complete a valid application.
"I understand that failure to answer questions 9 and 32 invalidate this application in its entirety."
There are no questions 9 and 32.

I took this to mean that the rest of the ridiculous rights you were giving away were null and void. A nice tongue-in-cheek takedown of small print while reminding you that this is elsewhere.

Read the small print and filled it out anyways for fun...
I liked that one

Yes, I did as well.
First of all...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
am I the only one whose name they changed when I applied?
They changed my name from Matt to Contessa.
Anyways... the reply read:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Attention ENS Applicant:
Our membership application handwriting analysis
engine has detected invalid data on your membership form.
Those who fail to submit accurate data may be subject to
penalties for each incorrectly submitted document.
No photocopies are allowed. Do not use prior year forms unless
you are applying for prior year membership.
is the same thing you received?

No reply here. I'm going to take the optimistic approach to mean I actually filled mine out correctly, Contessa.

They only changed my title from Miss to Mr.
So I wrote a response:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
To the ENS:
Although I am elated by the ENS opening its doors to new members, I must object to the salutation Mr. I specifically stated on my application that I should be referred to as "Ms" and my wishes were brutally ignored by this insufferable machine. Please note that I blame the interwebs for this mistake, but would like to return to the original state of "Ms. *****" or simply "theonlyshow" as my natural birthright during further processing of my ENS application. Any and all questions may be directed back here where my address further demonstrates the importance of a name. If my name were to end up on a coin misspelled, I'd be surely forced into an early grave!
Sincerely,
theonlyshow
And their response was such:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

erroneous application has been expunged from the ENS membership database.
Please ignore all future mailings addressed to Mr *****."
The Elsewhere Numismatic Society again thanks you for bringing this to our

interesting emails from Agent Shadow today.
Seems there may be a mole within the Philatelic Society cooperating with the numismatics. Also... it appears that a famous email joke dating back to the early 2000s may be connected to the Numismatic Society.
