FAQ 15
What is Section 7?
There is no Section 7 operating in the United States government. Section 7 does not exist.

Why do you people keep asking?

Re: The Cahill Family

ATTENTION! Our spies across the globe report new activity in the Cahill family. Rumors are coming thick and fast. But the best intelligence we have suggests that Grace Cahill (internal codename: Wildcat) has launched a hunt for some sort of "Clues" hidden around the world.
...
OUR MISSION: To try to infiltrate the notorious Cahill family and find the hidden "Clues" -- whatever they may be.
OUR METHOD: To impersonate actual Cahill family members.
...
Make sure Klose doesn't see this.

Gordon Klose Blog
This is Day Four of "Operation: Follow Grace Cahill until you figure out what she's doing and why Reginald thinks she's a problem."
...
Entry 3
I think I figured out Reginald's top secret assignment for me! I heard him talking to someone about the "Grace Cahill problem" today. OK, so he hasn't officially assigned it to me yet, but I'm going to surprise him!
...
Entry 2
Phew! It's tiring working for Section 7, the secretest of all the secret sections of the government. It's so secret that I don't even really know what we do! My brother Reginald got me a job there because Lucians are supposed to infiltrate the government as much as possible. Reginald is too busy to infiltrate it himself because he's always off on Lucian business. I want to help too, but he doesn't give me a lot of assignments. I think he's saving me for a really important mission that's too secret to talk about. It may even be too secret to think about! ...
Entry 1
...
I'm going to record all my top secret spy activity here. It's completely safe because I made sure to click "private." Those guys at Section 7 don't know what they're talking about. I'm an excellent spy!

This might be a crucial part of book 5. for all we know Madrigals might've took over section 7 without Lucians knowing about it.

U say that the Lucians or Madrigals most likely own Section 7, what about the Tomas, is nt the whole Holt family named after US Presidents, maybe they have something to do with their secret service as well.

Card 74

I see nobody has posted this. Card 74: Agent Irina Spasky shows that she is on the Most Wanted list of Section 7 of the US Government. Here, we come to a problem. Known facts about Section 7 include:

Section 7 is not officially a section of the US Government since it does not agree of its existence.

Section 7 is either controlled by Lucians or Madrigals. Cannot be both because even Lucians wouldn't think of striking an alliance with the Madrigals.

Probably controlled by Lucians because we know that Lucians such as Gordon and Reginald Klose work there.

Probably controlled by Madrigals because the inside back cover of OFN states that employees plan to impersonate Cahills, which is a tact of the Madrigals as shown by the Secret Archive of Card 73: Card Replicator.

So, the problem is, that if Section 7 is controlled by Lucians then why is Irina Spasky, a high-level Lucian (presumably) in their Most Wanted List?
And if Section 7 is controlled by Madrigals, then what are Reginald and Gordon Klose doing there?

A lot of branches are looking into area 51. Does that count as section 7?

If you go to Gordon's blog it says that Lucians have to infiltrate the government so that's why Gordon works at Section 7. I believe the Madrigals control Section 7.
