Maybe Slendy's effects on people are not intentional but rather a byproduct of the radiation he possibly gives off.In other words, he doesnt intend to kill or harm people. I know this is a rather huge stretch, but what if Slendy's intentions are more about studying his subjects and not actually harming them, but being around them causes sicknesses and insanity. U know, the more i write here the more i feel this is not the case and how this sounds completely ridiculous, but just thought what a huge twist in the story this would make.

It definitely seems like every time we've seen him thus far in Alex's videos, he hasn't made a move to ATTACK. He's simply stood there, observing. The only two things that could be percieved as attacks are
1.) when he enters Alex's room, the camera goes black, and when it comes on next Alex has blood on him, and
2.) Seth's dissappearance, presumably by being stolen away by Slendy.

But there's really no proof either of those is an actual attack... and every other video where we see him, he's simply standing there, looking, or looking in thorugh windows. He may not actually WANT to kill Alex....

That's actually what I've been speculating recently. If anyone has noticed, Slendy never ACTUALLY attacks anybody. Seth was apparently attacked, yes, but we don't KNOW it was SM that did it. It could have just as easily been Skully.

There's also the scene when Slendy stalks into Alex's bedroom, and the shot pops up with Alex covered in blood. But I really seriously doubt that it was SM that inflicted that. And if he DID, then why didn't he just kill Alex while he was vulnerable? Not to mention all the times Slendy's popped up while Alex was totally and completely alone, PERFECT organ-harvesting opportunities.

Bringing up again the concept that Slendy is like a kid playing on an anthill. His intentions may not be malicious in a specific sense, but he's certainly not benign and really, bringing out the magnifying glass because you're curious about what it'll do to the ants is no less scary to the ants than if it was brought out to kill them intentionally.

That was the point of what i was saying to a T. The ant hill analogy was pefect Kat. Im glad some others feel this way and its not that im just delusional from too much MH. For all we know Alex fell and busted his head open himself. Without any evidence whatsoever as to what really happened to him in that video, theres no way we can know for sure that its SM that did that to him. Plus the great point that was just made as to why SM didnt just kill him at that point. Except for one instance , weve never seen SM act in an aggressive manner. So whos to say what his intentions truly are. And the rabbit hole keeps getting larger and larger

Brilliant way of phrasing it... I second this. It almost makes him scarier when he's simply coldhearted about it, far more scary than seeing him as a deliberate evil. It's kind of worse knowing that your enemy is neither craving nor satisfied by your death, it's just incidental to him....
