Anyway.

First thing I want to say, I don't think the person in the night vision scene is Sarah. Unless she got a radically different haircut. You can see the back of their neck, and not just in the way you would expect when someone's hair is brushed forwards over their shoulders. It's actually cut up off the neck, there's a little peak there. So my thought is either Seth or Brian. Not sure where they were, but I do think that was Slendy coming around the corner there.

Also, Skull!Masky doesn't have blonde hair. That's a distorted view of the room behind him. The hair is dark and cropped close to the head, or pulled back sloppily. The distortion looks like what you would see through a peekhole in a door, like someone said, so I'm guessing that's what it was supposed to be. It's a little too...well, the perspective's not right, which wouldn't really suggest a mirror, though it could be, just with a weird camera angle. If it is a mirror, there's definitely room for his left hand to be holding a camera; it's all shadowy so we can't really be sure.

Also I agree that the first few shots on 4/4 are just Amy test recording and messing with the camera. I've never NOT done that with a new camera.

I'm on the fence about whether Alex knew the camera was there or not. He seems a bit disturbed when she first comes in. Not upset like he used to get, but that was under much different circumstances, and he may have lived the last 2-3 years peacefully; maybe he's a Buddhist now or something. He's found his zen. Or something. Either way, I think that as soon as he saw the camera, he understood that Slendy may just come back, and it's possible he was mentally working through how he'd react. I'm sure for a very long time after he moved, he was constantly thinking of ways to respond if anything like that ever happened again. Not necessarily getting upset about or obsessed with it, but just kind of at the back of his mind, considering possible escape routes.

He wasn't that calm, collected person when we saw him, but we didn't see him before, or after, the whole ordeal. And I'm sure something like that changes you.

...I'm starting to sound like I support the fact that he doesn't know, but I really am on the fence.

One of my major questions is...when the footage that was already on the tape was taken. Was it taken back when Alex was still there? The fact that he used a flashlight in a house to look at something (what was that, a monitor?) shows that he was investigating like Jay did. If he was a Masky, and it was more recent, he would have been wearing a mask, I would think. And if it WAS from way back when he was going through it all, then where was he? Hell, where was he regardless. It was only like half a shot, but I didn't recognize it.

Since, as was mentioned, this all does seem to mirror what happened to Jay, maybe the Skull!Masky was Alex's Masky way back then. Then when he left school and started traveling, he got a shot of Skull!Masky hanging out outside the door. Which would mean that the Masky or Maskies are the ones following them, and know where they are. Maybe protecting them, or even just checking in on them from time to time? But then who sent the tape? Was it Alex? DID he know where Jay was? Was it Alex's Masky on behalf of Alex? I don't understand D:

Also if it was the same Masky, why bother to change his mask? It seems like that would be the least important problem.

Also I love the new SM outfit. The limbs look more natural and spooky, and not as...well, you can't see where his hands are holding the extensions. It's pretty sweet.

Okay...food's in the belly and I'm more or less calmed down now. So...

Alex appearing calm, to me, is somewhat logical. I mean, it's been three years; plenty of time to get away and possibly forget about it all. Assuming he hasn't seen Slender Man since that night with Seth, it'd be safe to assume he's moved on with his life; the danger has passed for him. The girlfriend only proves that; no one in mortal peril from Slender Man would choose to settle down if they believed themselves still in danger. But once Slender Man comes a-knocking, his survival instincts will kick in. He's done this already, he knows what to do...to an extent.

The camera and the tape...it is possible that he got sloppy with the purging and forgot. Although the masked figure looking through the peephole could have been Totheark coming to his house to plant it.

Totheark's mask...it looks like his old one with a paintjob, being the toothy smile. Tim may be getting cocky and decided the smile made it look like he was getting closer. If it IS Tim, that is.

The frames before the video…there were clips of people. One of them looked like Alex from Entry 22 when they found the blood on the wall. The one whose back was turned may have been Sarah, what with her hair and all…could it have been more footage from three years ago? Maybe Sarah and Brian had a similar excursion with Alex that Seth had, and the footage was still left over

"Help"… and I put it as "Help" because there is no "me" in there like others have put…it could be Alex, or it could be TTA telling Jay to help. Only one way to know for sure

And finally (until I think of something else), Slender Man. At one point, the camera looked like it was getting dragged, and that was certainly Slender Man…but why did he let go? Alex's doing? And that final frame, the way he stood and the way his arms mutated…he was there for his food, not just to stalk. God forbid he grew an extra pair or two of arms afterwards, or I don't think it spelled good things for Mr. Kralie.

Oh, also, anyone else think it was interesting that Jay spoke directly to the camera at the beginning? I thought it was cool.

If I think of anything else, I'll post…but Jesus, guys, if this is just the end of season 1, then shit is going to get a whole lot more intense.

Oh man oh man this was the greatest entry. It started with my favorite elements of Entry 0 (the subtle background noise and driving scenes), and ended on the most awesome Slendy appearance EVER.

The glitch after she says "so when does this happen" is really weird - I thought it was my computer freezing up or something. Oh, and the sighing noise at 3:25 is weird and familiar. I know that's been there before. Plus, the final glitch at 4:04 right before SM's appearance.

Yeah, and we finally get to see some awesome SM tentacles. If he only uses those for combat, we know why we haven't seen them before...

Holy Fuck. I think Alex went father into the rabbit whole, far enough to make deal with Mr. Thin, or Masky, or the Operator, or whoever, so he could live an easy life. Alex seems to know exactly what is going all, calm and cool. Perhaps he somehow summoned Mr. Thin into this world.

@SickSlickMan: I disagree. I think Rather he's old hat at this, able deal with our otherworldly businessman with ease.

Finally, did any on else see the first gen masky? He's different. Perhaps, and this is just a bit of theory on my part, Masky is Mr. Thin's leash. He hides in a person's mind until needed.

I don't think I buy all that. You guys are saying he cut a deal with Slender Man as if saying Slender Man is a human being that can be dealt with.

The problem with that theory is that Slender Man ISN'T human.

You can't just cut a deal with something like that. Especially with something that, from what I've seen and read, doesn't have a weakness and whom you have nothing to bargin with. Alex wanted out, so he ran.

Maybe it was being planned, maybe he was watching Alex all along, and maybe Alex had an idea, a hunch that something was going to happen. But I'm not buying the belief that Alex knew Slender Man was coming.

At any rate, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I don't think Alex wanted this to happen. I agree with some of the earlier speculation that his calm tone was one of acceptance. Slendy recognized Alex (we can tell by the glitches) even before Alex knew his old camera was back in action. What could he do at that point?

My best guess is that he can track certain electronic/energy signals? And then when the girl turned the camera on Slendy immediately went "OH HI THERE" and teleported up in their house?

The other possibility is that he's attracted to things that have caught him recorded or on photo. In which case a good portion of the internet is fucked.

Maybe Alex has been keeping the camera secretly from her while he does group stuff against Slendy? Or maybe Masky/TTA/whoever did sneak in a leave the camera there. I'm seeing several Slender Hunters/anti-Slender theories in my head.

Jay's been keeping his cellphone with him obviously, so someone would be able to track the GPS on it easily. My vote goes to Masky-Tim/TTA, who could still be in contact with Alex, in which case Alex is the master and Tim is like... the delivery boy messenger or something.

Hey, long time watcher/reader, first time poster (this entry seems to have brought out a few of us). A few thoughts on 26.

At 4:18 there is definitely a shot of Slendy's legs. I don't think anyone has mentioned this. Perhaps SM extended a tentacle and dragged her away? I mean the legs are very, very close to the camera. This helps explain why Amy seems to run towards Slendy after she freaks out. One thing that disturbed me is how Amy asks "WHAT is that?!" as opposed to "WHO is that?!" It took me a few entries to notice that Slendy didn't have a face, and even in the entries themselves it is difficult to tell. Clearly his physical presence is very. . . alien. The fact that both Alex and Amy maintain a relatively clear head during the incident could indicate that Slendy is no longer in mind-rape mode, but has moved into attack mode.

I don't think that Alex simply left the tape in the camera. For a time, he was clearly very paranoid and very scared. Combining this with the fact that he is clearly calm and experienced with SM attacks, I'd say that Masky/TTA planted the tapes. Perhaps Jay did it while being mind-raped.

Amy refers to Alex by name, so he clearly hasn't taken on an alias or some such. Also, HOLY SHIT ALEX IS BACK.

The cutting that occurs during the "HELP" sign obviously means Slendy is near, but I took this to mean that he was rapidly approaching as TTA/Masky/Alex was filming the sign itself, causing him to rush.

Also, Amy is a cutie. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hopefully I've added something new to the discussion and not just reiterated things.
