1. Managed to help scare the hell out of one of my friends. You see, after watching MH I just had to get one of those white masks and paint it like Masky's. Weeks later, my boyfriend and I had a few friends over to our house the same night as the last EMH podcast so I ended up explaining what EMH was and from there I found out that one of my friends had actually watched MH and was scared by that one scene where Masky runs at J... A few minutes later another friend slipped out of the room and came charging back in wearing the mask. Now the thing you have to understand about my friend who was scared by that scene is that he is a big guy who could probably kill the rest of us with little effort if he wanted to... but when he saw "masky" charging towards him he screamed "NO! GET AWAY!" like a little girl and his arms went into an ape-like swing. Thankfully he missed and we all had a great laugh.

2. Had a horrible nightmare. dreamt I was walking through my house, when I got a bad feeling, turned around and saw slender man standing there. I started to back away, but tripped and fell. I lay on my back, dazed for a second looking at him, as he started to walk towards me when what I can only describe as a wave of depression came over me and I was wondering if I should try to run or just let him take me. It was at that point that I woke up

Sometimes, my radio signal goes out when some one walks by it so:

Before seeing MH:
It's probably nothing

After seeing MH:
Shocked

I had a fright this morning [warning this story contains mild nudity]:

I tend to have to get up early to get to work (its often an hour long bus journey), so I'm always up when its still dark and gloomy out. I'd retreived underwear from the underwear drawer, but had to go out into the dining room/lounge to get some trousers (inevitably these were to be found spewed out in front of the dryer where I'd left them the night before). So I wandered out, and picked up some clothes from the floor, I turned to go back to the bedroom and saw a dark figure lurking in the corner, I immediately jumped and brandished my trousers at him - obviously hoping the visage of me in my pants and socks weilding some cheap tesco pinstripes would fend off this eldritch horror.

Turned out it was the Christmas tree.

Bloody holidays.

See, I've been following EMH/MH for awhile now, and Slenderman and Masky have ceased to scare me (note that in the beginning I couldn't sleep-in my dorm with 3 other roommates- for fear that Masky would come. My boyfriend has the 5 am phone calls to prove it.) But now its kinda old news, which is kinda sad.

Have I ever told you kids about my first night watching MH? Well pull up a chair and let ol' LG tell you all about it.

You see, back in that day, Marblehornets was only on Entry #10, and I had just been introduced to the concept of ARG's. And came across the MH forum (Yep, it was right here, in this very forum section.) So I started watching the videos, and you have to remember, this was at about 3 in the morning.
So I start watching the things, and at the exact moment I finish watching Entry 10, my lights go out. It wasn't a weird thing, my parents were renovating at the time, and I was on a laptop, so I didn't mind. I was still scared out of my wits, though. Since I sleep next to a window, and my room's at the end of a long hallway, with the mirror aimed RIGHT into the hallway. Now, imagine my surprise when I hear this loud BUMP-*CRASH* upstairs. I run upstairs, and one of the hammers has fallen off of the table onto the floor. To this day, I still have no idea how it happened.

Also, for Christmas, I've asked for throwing knives. My reasoning? I can use them for hunting, and in case of attack by Slendy and/or Masky, I can see which one hurts him by coating them in Garlic, Holy water, etc.

I get the standard uneasy-at-night stuff, and I'm very particular about making sure my blinds are closed after dark, too, but I'm more relaxed now, despite now following EMH, as when I first came across MH.

I do get moments of strange during the day, though. A few days ago, I was in my classroom (I'm a teacher by day) and I thought I saw a tall figure in a suit on the next street over. It definitely gave me pause! Then I realized it was a girl or woman in a bulky coat and hat and scarf. I suppose EMH has made things a bit "closer to home" for me, though, given that not only do I live in the same state as them, I'm probably well within an hour of where they live.

I heard a strange beeping at work the other day, and I thought perhaps I was losing my mind. Turned out I wasn't the only one who heard it, though--somebody left a computer on a noisy website.

Then there's times when I've heard phones playing music on crappy speakers during lunch periods, which has sounded mostly like static and other distortion to me. The way the sound seemed at first to have no origin made me wonder what I was hearing. Interference with wireless microphones, too...I had a good look around the room to make sure there weren't any tall suited fellows around.

Most amusing for me, though, was the realization that last night, I was the anti-Slenderman. I had put on my grey suit for a performance, and I realized that with my light suit and dark shirt, my not-tall height, and my portly figure, I was very much Slendy's opposite in all but gender. That made me start laughing.

I forgot to note the difference in how he and I treat children: I try to put knowledge into them, and he tries to remove their organs.

Aww, thanks! His head is a little heavy, so it always nods to one side, but I guess that's pretty much canon anyways Very Happy

I don't remember if I've mentioned his on UF before or not, but last year when I was first getting into MH and reading up on Slenderman, I pulled an all nighter (It turned 3 and there was no point in trying to sleep then).
Sleep deprived, bleary eyed, and hopped up on half a pot of coffee, I left that morning to catch the bus.
It was still dark out but I opted to cut through a neighbor who lived by a cluster of trees yard. The trees freaked me, I made a run for it and startled three deer into open. I fell down, they ran past me and off into the darkness, and I didn't stop shaking for 8 minutes.

One of my students handed in a paper that has on it what looks like the Operator symbol to me.

I need to investigate this further. I think I'll die if that's what it really is.

(From the awesome of it. )

Walking to school this morning and I suffer from mild paranoia now thanks to MH, hurr durr. I turned around and saw a black thin thing standing up against a bush, so I pee myself (I pass by a forest directly) so I walked over and had my hands ready to push on arteries (yeah I hate slendy that much) and bam, it was a freakin log....
