It's a Dead Space version of Slenderman!

"... Well, that would explain the smell suit, then."

(Bonus points if you recognize where that was (semi-)quoted from.)

I just googled "Well, that would explain the smell, then" and...

both the third and fourth hit are asking what a lady garden smells like.

O_O'''

To save others the trouble of Googling the quote and finding... well whatever those sites are supposed to be about O_o''

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's from Don Hertzfeldt's 'Everything Will Be OK'.

Also, so I feel somewhat relevant to this thread - didn't have a Slendexperience recently, but did make a Masky mask and my brother and I are plotting out ways to use it to scare the hell out of one of his skittish friends who also watches MH. We're cruel, yes... but also awesome! Very Happy

I had a dream that a new TTA entry was posted and it showed that there were other maskys and everyone was violent and I was very disappointed because they butchered the whole story in the entry.

Some MH-ish things have been happening lately:
I had a dream in which someone gave me a Marble Hornets DVD, season Then he/she (I donīt remember) said "the discs for the next seasons are coming up soon" O.O
I have heard Slendy/Mask distortions in music and movies this week. One example was we were watching a really old video in one class, then the image stopped and something like the distortion sounds from #26 (no less) began to come up. I spent the last part of the calss taking off bricks from my pants.

That reminds me. Just last night I was watching the special features on Octopussy (the James Bond movie) and one of the old made-for-TV documentaries about the production had a visual tear exactly like the Marble Hornets trademark. D:

Then Roger Moore said something funny.

This is both an effect thanks to Marble Hornets and TribeTwelve. Shortly after watching both series I was out walking down the boardwalk in my neighborhood boardwalk and I did a quick head swish and could have sworn I saw Slenderman a ways back. You can bet I booked it out of there. I should have seen it coming though, because on the way there I also saw something that I thought was dear old Slenderman.

This is my life after marathoning (I think I just made a new verb!) through MH at ungodly hours of the night. I seem to recall one instance of my cell phone vibrating and damn-near causing an anxiety attack.

I have felt quite a few effects. The increased paranoia(everytime at night I feel like he's there watching me...just i can't see where he is), general anxiety etc. I have had quite a few dreams about him, either directly about him or he just decides to show up, which is really creepy.
Also it's inspired me to make music (http://www.soundcloud.com/x-39) which is all based off of different stuff from within the series/mythos.

Proof of what we all knew.

Roger Ebert? Lovecraftian, Slenderman-esque Monstrosity.

...now, Felicia Day surprises me, but I guess that her strange ability to captivate the hearts of geeks could be some manner of soul-stealing...

Well, today in school, I was kinda dozing off, and I caught myself writing/drawing something...
I had drawn an operator symbol, and had written "sees me" in better handwriting than I usually have. My eyes were closed.

I live in a very built up area and a guy down the street on the corner was rebuilding a wall and there is a raised path behind it. I had just watched all of Marble Hornets season 1 for the first time about 8 hours before and I was walking past it when suddenly in the corner of my eye there was a figure walking next to me but much taller, black clothes with pale white on top.

Yeah, I jumped so high. He gave me such a funny look when I turned to look at him. He was wearing a black t-shirt and shaves his head by the looks of things.

Wow, that was about 10 months ago, should have posted that sooner~

I hate looking in windows at nighttime now. It doesn't help that last night I had a dream where I looked in a window and saw a white thing in it that looked like Slendy's head. I was scared but moved in closer because I wanted to show him I wasn't afraid.

It's also awful when walking out at night and your shadow starts to get just a little too long...
