I had my own weird little thing happen today...I drew an Operator symbol on my hand because I was bored. Nothing weird about that, right? I went over to a friend's house and we were going to play Left 4 Dead 2 when her computer started getting really laggy and then jumped to the blue screen of death. As if that wasn't bad enough the headset, keyboard, and mouse started acting weird when we finally escaped the blue screen of death.
Needless to say, we were peeking out the windows for about five minutes and extremely paranoid.

The slendy mythos reinforces my fear of the dark. To be exact, staying in the dark inside a building starts to make me shakes a little bit.

I was not afraid of darkness for some time before this. Y U MAKE ME PARANOID NOW.

It's given me a fear of the woods. And just my luck, I live in a place surrounded by woods. Lot of trees that even kinda resemble some MH scenery and/or background from the original Slendypics.

Oh sheesh, I read this a few days ago and thought, "Phew, thank god I haven't experienced any Slendy-creepiness!"

Until last night, dangit!

I went to bed early and woke up to the sound of my husband, P, opening the bedroom door and getting ready for bed. I opened my eyes and ALL OVER THE WALLS OF THE BEDROOM were Slender scribbles! Stick figures, Operator symbols, the lot of it. The disturbing part was they were jittering around, moving like someone was projecting them on the walls. I squeezed my eyes shut until P crawled into bed. Then I dared to peek at the walls one more time and everything was normal... Freakin' nightmares!

I know how you feel, so hard. I live in a rural area, and there is a massive forest behind my house (which was creepy when I was scared shitless of Slender Man when I first found out about it).

I recently went location scouting for my video project in there and I kept looking around every thirty seconds.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It also didn't help that I got lost for a half hour, and encountered an old abandoned hunter's perch, which looked like something that would have been a spiritual successor to the Red Tower.

Had my first real and memorable Marble Hornets dream.

So it was a YouTube video, a totheark response. "6th Section of fjajiajfaes" I dunno, some really not-totheark-sounding name. The video started off with Tim sleeping with Jessica. It was dark, but you could just about see from the light from outside who they were. And by "sleeping with," I do mean what you think I mean.

So then Jessica gets up out of bed and puts on a towel. She walks to the other side of the room and the camera turns to face her. This part of the room has more light, and we can clearly see Jessica just casually walking and talking.. then she turns and sees the camera. "What the? Who's that?" She turns the light on, then the camera turns to the side and shows a full-sized mirror, revealing Alex holding a videocamera.

This was supposed to be how totheark's identity was revealed. I admit, I wasn't expecting it to be Alex. xD Or for it to be revealed in such a way. It was a really weird dream.

It's April, which here in central Arizona means swimming-pool season is fast approaching.

My preferred swimming time is at night, with the lights out. But last night I couldn't even stay out in the yard for very long: every damned palm tree I saw from the corner of my eye looked like the Operator.

MH may have ruined my summer before it even starts.

Woah, another central Arizonian. Didn't know there were any others!

There's probably a lot I could go on about, but I've recently tried to get a few people I know into it (Though one's overly critical of the horror genre, the other's easily scared), had a few odd dreams and a case of sleep paralysis sort of, and was extremely paranoid the first few weeks. Probably due to the fact I watched the entire series late at night.

Yesterday I was driving and listening to my stereo. Suddenly, Entry #36-ish distortion kicks in. Shocked
More recently, today, I was playing Xbox, and the screen went brighter, somewhat orange and kind of blurry. Idonīt remember which Entry had distortion like this, but Marble Hornets instantly came to mind.

I have a pretty creepy Masky one to share.

I can't remember which entry it was but the one where Timask appears in J's room as he sleeps;
On a strange play of proportions and lighting, there is a white lamp in my room which is attached to the bottom of a shelf right over my desk and basically it's a short stick, sticking down from the shelf then there is a bit that goes across at the end, basically making an upside-down T and when it's nighttime and I'm trying to sleep when I look over at it, the two empty spaces between the top of the T and the stick ( l ) and the white lamp make it look like the Masky Mask and the two eyeholes; Like if Masky was crouching over my desk.
Fortunately, when it comes to 'my nightmares becoming reality', I'm a fairly rational person so in a way, THINKING about Slenderman scares me shitless but in a case where I see some kind of Slenderman, I would just rationalize (lolmath) and shrug it off.

Another fun experience was when I was explaining what Marble Hornets was to my two good friends back when it was only up to about Entry #20. We were on the upper level of a two level mall, looking out the window while sitting on a bench. I was explaining was Slenderman was and how he looked like and they totally bought the idea, getting immediately creeped out by it. By some kind of crazy chance, there was some kind of corporate business building across the mall and we could look into the upper level windows of the building from where we were sitting.
In one of the windows, there was a cardboard cut-out of a man in a business suit, part of some kind of advertisement which they were probably going to put out later and when my friend pointed it out we all almost shat a thousand bricks.

Last night I fell asleep at my computer, quite early on. Few hours later my dad came in and woke me up, whilst he was standing in my doorway.

Try and picture this:

The glow from my laptop screen, a faint light behind the hallway where my doorframe is, my room black other than this. All I saw was a silhouette of a man standing in my door frame saying my name and "Wake up.".

And considering I just woke up, I nearly freaked the fuck out.

I know dreams aren't exactly real life, but this nightmare I had freaked me the hell out for at least a week.

I was slowly walking in the woods, drearily and seemingly in no direction.

All the sudden I could see a house very clearly: It was white and had an awning stretching out on the side, in the middle of the forest.

Immediately after I could faintly see the ominous tall, thin figure we know and love appear from behind the house. My mind then went into a frenzy of complete screaming and high pitched hysteria with a background of the fuzzy black and white you see in tapes.

I woke up shitting bricks, and then realized I had to go to school in an hour. I just sat in my living room rocking back and forth until I regained my composure, and none of my friends at school know about MH so I couldn't tell them why I was acting strange that day.

Central AZ party? Wink It's not too much of a surprise to me; isn't the Phoenix/Scottsdale/ect area one of the most populous urban areas in the US (in the top 10)? And there are a number of good universities around here as well.

Anyways, on topic, what slendermania has done to me? Well, I have trouble falling to sleep now, thanks to the fact that I keep expecting the door to open and me to see a large, tall sillohoute slink in the second I close my eyes.

And vegetation here...why must it be so slendershaped?!

Here's a dream my friend had:

Her, another friend of ours, and me, were running from Slendy. We ran into the back room of this store by our houses. Then, when Slendy opened the door, me and the other friend held him back while the friend that was dreaming beat him with a bag of oranges.
Chyeeah.
His one weakness.
ORANGES.
