Hey, hey Tim, see that symbol? On those boxes? What does that look like to you?

Uh, the plus sign on a battery?

...Yes. That's exactly right.

Is that quoted from somewhere? Because that just made made my day.

I feel like the "mythos" Slender Man tends to be scarier than the Operator sometimes. I mean, if The Operator appeared in the next entry, all I'd end up doing is speculating on story.

Mention "Der Ritter" around me late at night and I won't be sleeping.

I'm guessing cause the mythos Slender Man has been esablished and it has it's own contained history. The Operator's history is still up in the air.

I set my cell phone greeting message to (X) and the wallpaper to a Slendy forest pic and the next text message I got was completely blank.

I'm starting to hear distortion. Not during a video, like, right in my ears. You know that ringing you get in your ears when it's really quiet? Imagine it sounds like that crap from Entry #5.

I'm actually on the phone a lot. Like, a lot, a lot. I'm familiar with static and all the weird noises that can come through the phone. I've got to admit, A LOT of them remind me of the distortion used in these videos. It's one of the reasons I can't talk on the phone in my room in the dark.

Also, I found this on the internet. Check out the first game.

Well, last night I had TWO separate dreams about how MH would end.

In the first one, there was some tall skinny guy with long black hair (reminded me a bit of Russell Brand?) who had apparently shown up once, briefly, in Season One. Turns out he was the key to the whole thing. He showed up, challenged Alex to a fight, and kicked the shit out of him. Then a bunch of ladies surrounded him and Marble Hornets was over.

So that one didn't make much sense.

Then, in the second one, it turned out that Slendy was inspired by this guy who'd been a guest speaker in one of Alex's film courses. The guy was tall and bald, of course, and wore a suit, and I guess was gradually turning into the Operator as he spoke. In a tape Alex had of his lecture, all his words were distorted (think Alex's speech in Entry 10). The assignment this guy had given the class was to make a sculpture of an angel... that they could fit on their heads...?

That one didn't end up making much sense either, I guess.

Rework it a little and that second one doesn't sound half bad.

Personally i like the idea of MH ending with Russel Brand showing up, kicking the shit out of Alex and being swarmed by ladies. I think that would be a satisfactory ending, haha.

Aaaand just when I thought Slendy couldn't possibly creep me out any more, I happened to walk by and look at this painting in my house for the first time in years...

This thing's been hung in my downstairs hallway for as long as I can remember. It's at very least 15 or so years old (though probably somewhat older), and definitely pre-dates the Slender Man legend by a long shot. Somehow, that just makes it worse...

I actually just had a dream with the ending of MH as well (fell asleep on the bus)...it was rather ridiculous, and way over the top, but while we're the memory is clear, why not?
So basically the idea is that Alex and Jay go to an industrial area together, and find a safe. Alex knows the code somehow, opens it, and then suddenly freezes and then knocks out Jay. Seth, wearing a masky outfit, steals the camera, and it is revealed that Alex is "The Ark" which is actually an eldritch abomination-ish thing that consumes your body and then slowly eats away at your mind as you believe youre still alive (replaces your body). The Ark also twists your thoughts and dreams into reality, even though these are parts of the Ark as well and not individual things. The safe contained something to get Alex to 'wake up', and become part of the ark. Jay gathers the MH crew, but Seth dissapears, and they begin to try and fight ark-alex back. Soon it is discovered that Seth actually died a while ago and was de-organed, and his corpse is a slender-puppet of the actual slendy. Slendy then tries to assault Ale (who devours the insane Tim), and the forest burns as Jay is knocked out. He wakes up in a feild of ash, surrounded by the MH crew and Jessica, who are all telling him its all right. They go for a picnic as part of Jay's recovery, and Jay finds a folder to him from TTA in the basket. He throws it into a creek, and tries to forget about it. The folder floats on, but a picture flips out, revealing that everyone surrounding Jay is actually one organism...dun dun dun

Yeah, I know, its not a good ending for any show, but it does show that long bus rides after no sleep and lots of MH can lead to very creative dreams! Laughing
