I'm just gonna copypasta this little bit from last night. Originally posted in the entry 47 discussion right after real-life weirdness freaked my shit out a bit:

YOU GUYS YOU GUYS YOU GUYS

I haven't got any significant theory to add just yet, because I just watched the new entry. But I was discussing it via text with a friend, and when he texted me back, the phone beep was all staticky and screechy and distorted Shocked Shocked Shocked

OK, I'm gonna keep reading now and try not to freak. Only about to page 6. See y'all on the flipside if Slendy doesn't get me.

Edit: Well, that was... a much more coherent read than a lot of these recent threads have been. And no more weird slendy-distortion-esque sounds this early-morn. But I did mention it to my fiance and he said he's been getting weird sounds from his phone, or from the TV, but only while watching or just after watching MH.

Well, I think these conversations I had with my friend shows a lot. He knows only really knows that Slender Man is, well, a creepy faceless slender man.
Quote:
BFF: It looks like that only because of the lighting. It would look normal in sunlight.
Me:Oh god that reminds me of these people online who were... forget it.
BFF: OH GOD
Me: ...how did you know-
BFF: That it was slender man related? What else would it be?

And the next day via Steam:
Quote:

...
Tojo: Cause I'm having some problems and would like to talk
V: I can talk
Tojo: Okay, I've been having weird anxiety problems
Tojo: Like I had a panic attack when the ATM ate my card because I needed money to buy a notebook even though I have more than enough cash to buy a spiral notebook
Tojo: And I can't sleep at night even though I'm sleepy
Tojo: I left your house planning on going to bed but I couldn't. So I did the logical thing and watched a new Slender Man series. This one was paticularly frightening because the main character has a 2 year old babby. Oldly enough, I fell right asleep after that. And this has happened a few times before; I can't sleep, I watch a scary video or many of them, and then I can go to bed. It makes no sense at all.
V: Huh.
V: When you're trying to fall asleep normally, what's on your mind?
Tojo: Everything that I need to get done and have failed to do. Its always on my mind.
Tojo: Oh and I have an example of what it is I watch. No slendy knowledge is needed to understand it as much as I do except for the fact that in this series Slendy is known as the Operator. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCeBFW0KYV0&feature=feedu
Tojo: Or an even better example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUFe8bEIDQE&feature=related
V: So it sounds like the problem with your sleep is just that you're busy worrying about the stuff you need to do, and slenderman (in this case) distracts you from it enough to sleep. Yes?
Tojo: I guess.
Tojo: But its weird because this stuff is suppose to make you never want to sleep again
V: I guess, but it still distracts you from your actual worries.
V: And stepping down from real-life problems to slender man problems makes it seem lighthearted by comparison, if you know what I mean.
Tojo: And it makes me sink so deep into my bed that I'm practically inside the matress. Razz
Tojo: But now I'm having trouble with nightmares
V: From slender man?
Tojo: And you make a good point
Tojo: Yes, from el hombre alto
Tojo: And maybe stuff like this doesn't help my problems with worrying about getting work done: http://www.youtube.com/user/totheark#p/a/u/2/gyOQvJgkOvQ
V: My first solution would be to: 1) Get work done and make enough progress with your stuff so that you can feel productive and in control, 2) Keep yourself distracted from your problems when you go to sleep, because thinking about them then won't do you any good, and 3) do so by distracting yourself with something that doesn't cause nightmares. Maybe watch a TV show or something.
V: Yeah, those videos might be a bad thing.
Tojo: I've tried watching Buffy, but that only kinda works to distract me
Tojo: OMG THAT SHOW IS GOOD
V: I guess the show should be very happy and/or intense (but not worrisome intense)
V: aaaannnd the first thing that comes to mind from those two descriptors is My Little Pony. Dear god.
Tojo: Wait, I've heard of people watching My Little Pony after Slender Man things to conteract it. So to cure me I need to become a brony! But the cure is worse than the problem.
Tojo: YOU BEAT ME TO IT

I was at a party last night and reminded one of my friends that the series was still updating. Based on what she said, I don't think she even knew season 2 started. D:

I told her about the season 1 DVD and hope she catches up soon. She was quite excited about this.

I was at work and saw this my first night when taking out the trash. It doesn't help that it's often foggy in my area. Luckily it wasn't that night or tonight.

Edited for picture.

Yeah, ever since I started watching MH fog has been my mortal enemy.

I've recently moved into a new apartment block, and my bedroom looks eerily similar to Alex's room in entry #44. Makes the long, dodgily-lit corridor to my apartment even creepier. Add to that a spate of murders in the area, and the only possible explanation is TEH SLONDORMONZ.

EDIT: We also live just down the road from a theatre called "The Arc".

Well, I had my first Slenderman nightmare last night.

I was lying in bed, on my side. I turned to lie on my back and there was our finely-tailored faceless friend (alliteration, woo!) staring at me. He remained still for about a minute, before lunging at me, head twitching at shaking.

I woke up, and was scared shitless. First thing I did was lie on my back to see if he was still there.

In class, we saw a movie about Freud and his theraphy (mindfucks, mindfucks everywhere).
In a scene, Freud is treating a woman. He asks her about a recurrent dream. She is in a state of hypnosis, so she remembers her dream clearly.
...
Woman: "I see it!"
Freud: "What do you see?"
Woman: "I have always seen it in my dream."
Freud: ""What?"
Woman: "The tower..."
Freud: "A tower."
Woman: "The Red Tower!"
-
That freaked the everloving hell out of me.

Did someone watch a certain Interruption by a certain Observer?

Actually...That might be it. I watched the day it came out and I guess it just went to the back of my head, until last night. I'd completely forgotten about that.

That video still confuses me, because Slender Man has a face.

Not necessarily, it looked more like an Entry #40/#43 type facial features, which are more like indentations, not full features. You can tell by the way that they hide his face with the light behind him. I'd just say let it slip.

I wonder why he didn't edit the facial features out. I'm sure he has the ability to, since he can make the Observer's glasses fade away. (Right around the 9-10 second mark)
