Has anyone been in direct contact with V recently?

Not for several days. May get in touch with her via Twitter to see if there's a safer way to contact her directly.

I mentioned in the MoA chat that I'm not feeling well today (light-headed light my blood sugar is low) and Jason basically asked if I was pregnant. Jason's kind of a douche. Anyway, I also noticed that Idmon and Erginus were "featured". Jason said that means:

I sent V a message on her Yahoo blog. We'll see how she responds.

I sent her an email (vanessaataantaSPLATrocketmail.com), with a message similar to her text to Claire, with a "secret message" of "is there a safe way to contact you?". She got a new laptop, per her blog post, so hopefully she'll have a more secure way to talk to everyone. Doubtful, given Jason's knack for computer interference, but it's worth a shot.

Edit: And she gave me an email address that bounced back. Wonderful!

Speaking of spelling, she says she doesn't want to RUNE Jason's birthday.

Runes came up near the end of the last game (at least, I think it was near the end).

I could go meta by remembering connections the runes probably had to something last game, and that I've been waiting for that connection to come up, but I don't WANT to meta, so I am going to wait until there is more in-game connection to those ideas in THIS chapter.

When I get home, I'll tell her about the Codex Vladimir "gave" me on my birthday Jan. 31, as it involves runes...maybe that will give her some ideas.

I see Richard and I both sent replies to her. Wait and see now, I guess.

The biggest problem I see is that if her computer is not a reliable way of communicating, what is?

BTW, I'm Richard there, although I am going to change my name to solicary; Too many RL people wondering what on Earth is going on.

Well, since we're already using dots, why not go full bore and set up a telegraph and use Morse code.

Truthfully, I considered it. I also considered sending her messages in binary, since she could communicate that way before, when she started being able to do the MoA jedi-mindtrick stuff.

That communication is rather obvious. If she is afraid, I wonder what would be sufficient to really communicate. Maybe text messages for a short term means of communicating without computer.
