Then for the high priestess it can mean other wordliness, introspection and mystical vision and serenity. Maybe why she told everyone not to work?

As I said I really don't know and this is total guesswork


I'm not feeling the best today. Had one of those nights where I slept amazingly well through out the night, but woke up feeling like I never got a single bit of it, and on top of having a cold, I'm not in the best conditions for thinking.

...the tongues of the snakes in the rotating snakes pic seem to be like clock hands.

 		Doing the same.. I thought maybe the numbers would be for some form of encryption (hex, dec, ect) but I didn't end up with anything useful.

 		Yeah, I also tried using them with the letters the runes represent, then our letters, but nothing.

Thurisaz isn't it.

about the password...did she give any indication about whether it would need the indigo or violet password? I think it's violet, since it seems to be about targeting, but it would be nice to know which password clue we're trying to use.

the violet one is an optical illusion known as the Rotating Snakes illusion.

it works on something called peripheral drift.

remember when you and I were talking about the stick turning into a snake, and the snake belt on the Magician card?

that and this made me think of the ouroboros, but that didn't work as a password.

not in all lowercase, anyway...didn't try other cases

but I don't see any indication of how many letters...unless it's something to do with the number of tongues or snakes or something

 		This might have nothing to do with anything, but I just re-read Aethalides' note about the party, and one line jumped out at me

I don't know why, but the phrasing struck me as odd, and made me think of the Tarot suite of Cups. They're supposed to represent heart, emotion, and psyche, I think, and if inverted, they can mean the manipulation of those for vengeance, greed, and so forth. Cups can also mean "a storehouse of symbolic direction", and that kinda sounds familiar.

 		Gmail is acting up, and I can't get in my account to get the full email, but, I got an email back from the beadwerkz which when edited down (Taking the caps and the first few words in it.) came out to

EDIT: At work now. Btw, if allusions have been made to Alan Turing - you might want to consider whether one of our characters is not a human, but in fact a machine.

Ok, tangent, work with me here:

Aethalides talks about how Williams and Gascoigne used the Golden Hare to change an idea into reality. Taking Williams' abstract story from Masquerade and pulling it into our corporeal world.

Alan Turing is famous in the world of modern technological theory for coming up with the Turing test - which is where a computer program tries to convince a human that it is in fact a human. If a computer program can, one day, consistently convince a human that it isn't a program, but another human communicating with them, then it can be said to have passed the test and the boundary between the machine "other" and us will have erroded further.

What both these concepts have in common is creating "something" out of "nothing". What if this machine is meant to pull something abstract (either from the past - Aeth mentions using geneaology. Or something entirely fabricated - like making a computer generated program corporeal) and creating it a corporeal existence?

 		Well. We don't know a whole lot about the machine, other than the fact that it can do something like time travel using (I believe) a daughter to mother connection (At least in the current case). V would be needed to send information back to her mother, at least as it was explained in the first game. But, again, I'm not sure.

As for the Alan Turing things, he was one of the triad working on the machine. My understanding is that it was V's uncle, Vladimir and Alan.


As for one of the characters being a machine. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the ministry puppets was a program of some sort.
