 		Chatting with Claire right now.

The gist of it is that we think we need to strengthen V so VS can't take over, because she is able to use her own body less and less, and that's bad. It is hard for me to think of Vlad as the bad guy, but seems like he may be in this case.

To strengthen V, we think she should be taken back to the place where a lot of her training took place--the cave the VS took her to last year to keep the Ministry from being able to find her--the Queen's Parlour in the Hermitage caves (http://www.whitedragon.org.uk/articles/caves.htm ...found by Claire). Claire is willing to pick V up in London and take her to the cave.

Claire and I together decided that binary should be a good way to contact V and not VS...though the message that VS included on the CD was made of 0s and 1s, it was Morse code and not binary. I don't think VS has ever talked in binary that we've seen, whereas Johan (in the binary error message that was on V's computer last year) and V have. Maybe binary is a Cardui thing.

Claire is going to try to pick V up at a vegan Chinese restaurant that they went to in London once...stuck in their minds because Claire had a bad hangover and was craving meat & they had no idea the place was vegan when they went there! She will be there from 7-10 pm their time tomorrow. I've composed a cryptic binary message and posted it as a comment on V's blog, in the hopes that she'll read it and show up there tomorrow evening. If V doesn't show up tomorrow evening, Claire will find a hotel in the area and try again tomorrow.

Claire also has an idea for things that the rest of you should try to do early tomorrow, before V goes missing: some of you contact Aethalides and some of you contact Ancaeus through messages (not forum posts or comments on their profiles) on the Ministry's Ning. She suggests,

e-mail them something about being nervous or excited about the 23rd and ask if there's anything you can do help with the project ... Not exactly recruit them, just get info out of them ... If we're lucky one of them may slip up and give us an idea about what to do.


i.e., if a couple people bugged him "hey, we're not recruits anymore, let us help" and a couple people bugged Ancaeus, we might get somewhere.

Timing is important for contacting Aethalides and Ancaeus:

We also agreed that since I'm posting the binary message on V's blog, it probably shouldn't be me that contacts Aethalides and Ancaeus...the binary is suspicious enough, and then if she disappears when I could be seen as trying to distract two agents...well. So yeah, could some of you take up begging A & A to let us help out?

Oh, she also threw this in, which I also wondered about:

She also figures VS will try to rear his head at some point while she's interacting with V, and will be on her guard.

To me though the whole video like a train of thought. A bit like when you're having a drunken conversation, and one thing leads to another. I think it might be a clue that our V hasn't got very long left before VS takes her over completely, and then the choice about the machine will be out of her hands. She seems so weak, that's what i take from the songs, that she needs to run away (dog days), and really she needs to fight!!! (look at rabbit heart she knows that she is weak and scared like a rabbit, when she must become a lion or seven months "For as long as I have tried, and as low as I can be, I will never resign myself from the trial that I seek ) The end of the video where the half of the screen is green, maybe that's when the change ocurred between her and VS and that's when he wrote his message. Or maybe it's a sign that she is dwindling inside her head.

We really need to help her Paul. I'm afraid she hasn't got long left, and he is much stronger than her. We need to help her get stronger, but I don't know how. Another thing has struck me, if VS is in her head, after she/he killed JPW he could have easily reassembled the machine, and something in the message that Poeas sent mentioned that V would never give up the machine as she wouldn't be able to see her mom again. So there is always the slim (fingers crossed as it means far less legwork) chance that the machine is already built. I don't really have any proof of that though so until then I guess we have to work on the principle that the machine is in one or more pieces.



I'm not sure how much in the Ministry's good books I am, especially if they spotted me at the meeting. Who have we got left who can contact A & A?

 		On the 16th May sent precisely the suggested sort of msg to Aethalides. Am awaiting his reply.

Vanessa has Yahoo blogged the below nursery rhyme in binary (Her title One small step...) with a non-binary, personal closing which appears to acknowledge Dreaner's "locale" binary blog comment.

Actually, it kind of worries me that the non-binary bit was that...because that reads like Vladimir to me. He said "Thank you." a lot. He might have figured out the plan. I'm glad Claire knows to watch out for him...I also worry that this plan of ours is bringing Claire and Vladimir together, because he DID want to see her.

The moon is trump card 18, and the sun is card 19. Is she saying she will plan to be at the restaurant between 6 and 7 pm, an hour early? Or is she just blogging about the moon because today is the 18th? I guess we'll have to see how today's proposed meeting pans out.

LAWL, almost edited my post to "V or Vlad blogged" but didn't want the bad vibe. Also, a NING is a social network. One can only send personal msgs to your friend network. You get one shot with a friend request which I don't intend to use:

 		I wonder if The Moon here represents Vlad. Is she saying she can't go until his presence is somehow eliminated?

When we met, V arranged the timing for sunset, then brought it forwards slightly as she didn't want to be out after dark. It could be that Vlad's influence is greater at night or when she sleeps. Or is it the other way around?

Edit - have sent a message to The Herald "in character" to see if they wish the owl to position itself anywhere to protect the precious cargos. Maybe it'll work. I feel like Agent Zigzag!

I'm concerned that Claire is giving a bit too much about where she is on Facebook at the moment. Wouldn't take a huge amount of work for the ministry to locate her from some of her recent posts. I've warned her via PM, but secretly hope she's not doing it on purpose..

Edit - had this reply. Does it mean she's got V?

The full convo clarifies that the "it" is ancaeusSPLATbritain.com for those wishing to engage him. As important 'tho conjecture: if the "sleeping beauty" during the beginning of the May 1st party was Vanessa, it's unlikely she was cleverly alert enough to poison just one helping of fruit salad there (JPW's)

EDIT: And, Yaha, that sounds like Claire is at the vegan with her meds to dose V. Not sure about any company yet. Exciting!

This is the second time that Ancaeus has capitalized the word "Worry"...both times in reference to that picture.

The first time was in the caption of the picture:

That's "ALONE. WORRIED NOW". Mentioned a few pages back that Ancaeus' msgs read liike he's passing info to someone at the NING. It's apparent he has history with Poeas (Oregon connex) 'tho am still uncertain if it's birds of a feather or familiarity breeds comtempt.

EDIT: Ancaeus replied to my NING photo comment. The "look lower" anagrams to "relook owl" & "owl looker" but Dunno

Here's my reply. I'm hoping this is the right thing to do...
