 		Sweet research y'all! Many "earthworks" are designed as mazes with a center and are covered in green plants or shrubbery.

This Photo/info Link explains. In England they're known as the Historic Turf Labyrinths. Wherever this leads, it's intriguing. Cool

your link says it all. Interesting he should choose to represent himself with a rune that frequently stands for ego and duplicity.

I will also point out that it's interesting to note that O is using the Norse runic system, as all connected with the ministry have - including V. Symbolically speaking, it's the best known in terms of divination, but is frequently linked with more Germanic worldviews since WWII, especially when directly linked with use of the Norse Pantheon. To clarify, although this is used by many Norse neo-pagans innocently, its also imagary utilised by the far right.

The reason I'm mentioning it is that it could be seen as odd for a group claiming to be dedicated to furthering the protection of England, especially when they invoke the spectre of Nazi Germany, to utilise the symbols of the very groups they claim to stand against.

Especially when the UK has its own runic system (Ogham) and pantheon of deities to draw from.

Here's the thing. O's rune could be a Norse rune, but it could also be seen as Ogham too. He's a tricky one. He seemed to be working to protect V, although there are theories he was working with Vlad. When I met him he was abrupt yet businesslike, although he potentially turned threatening when he thought I had overheard too much. He says we can save lives - but at the same time is obfuscatory about who's and how. His thinly veiled insult to me about Winnie The Pooh's Owl was also interesting as it was quite a British reference. It's also interesting to note the number of "archaic" British slang terms that have been used by "young" characters, such as "out of her cups". All food for thought, I guess.

 		New email about the Ning. Apparently, "personal information was hacked." No worries though; " it was only the sign-in registers [d.o.b and mail contact address etc] NOT electronic access or banking details." Wink

Seems as if prof O now has everyone's dob and mail addresses, for those of us who gave this information to A/the Ministry. Or potentially someone else, but my guess is that it's a plot tool for enabling O to contact us all.

 		There are at least two possible Henry IX that could apply to. One British, one Bavarian. Can we tie that image to either? It's pretty clearly Christian symbolism, and both were known for church links.

Edit - just realised that this could also apply to Prince Harry. AFAIK he's in South Africa right now.

Edit 2 - after more squinting at the image, I realised it says AILM - part of the Ogham alphabet! Linkie here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ailm

edit 3 - now discovered the origin of the image - http://asia-lutheran.org/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=201 but I suspect it was chosen more for the Ogham connection than this.

 		Right - sorry about this, this postcard probably arrived a couple of days ago, this weekend I've been in the process of moving flats, and I gave Orpheus my new address and didn't see this until today.

So the postcard I got has what I believe is the Enigma machine on the front of it. The written side then has this, handwritten (I'll get a photo when I can dig my camera out of my stuff):

There are a couple of markings too, in the bottom left is what looks like a capital T, but with the horizantal line kinda bowed in the middle, so it looks like a crude palm-tree line drawing, and the number/time 20:05 beside it.

Then, there's a line dividing the back of the postcard (to signify where to write the message, and where to write the address), and at the top of this line are two numbers on each side of it - 21 on the left, and 22 on the right.

I hope this has been clear, like I said I'll get a picture as soon as possible.

Reckon the connex is that Meton of Athens was "one of the first Greek astronomers to make accurate astronomical observations. It is widely believed that, working with Euctemon, he observed the summer solstice on June 27, 432 BCE". LINK

I tried looking to see if there were any alchemical symbols that might be relevant, but could not find anything. The rune theory might stand with looking in the sky at the solstice?

 		I sent a message to O in reply to his last tweet indicating the Ogham link. He's replied with:

As Ailm is seen as the 20th Ogham, and was posted on the 20th. I've not had the post yet this morning so I've yet to receive anything, but it'll be interesting to see if all the cards have ogham on.

Also, he's clearly seperating himself from Vlad's Futhark rune system in this message.

 		OK, my postcard has arrived. It's an image of an office workplace in Bletchley Park.

I've got the same 21/22 as everyone else, this time written on either sides of the line that divides the writing section from the address.

Written on the card is:

"...Like a
diaMOnd
in the sky...

STOP THE FIFTEEN
DAYS OF DARKNESS.
O."

In the bottom left corner is the astrological symbol for Capricorn followed by 8:07

*thinking cap on*

EDIT! The MO isn't MO at all. It's MC, cunningly disguised. Folks, pay careful attention to the way letters are written!!

Aha! Then that makes that 'crude palm tree line drawing' on my postcard the astrological symbol for Aries!
