 		[39C] 39 Clues Family Tree
I was thinking it might be important to keep track of family members
I was going to draw up a family tree with the actual names of the family members. Does anybody know the connection to the family of the Holts to Amy & Dan? It said that their mother was an only child. How then does the children have Cahill cousins? They would have to be at the very minimum 2nd counsins and that would be iffy. Please respond if you think a family tree might be helpful. btw i really enjoy reading all the posts. I am a newbie to the forum, still struggling with the music card message #11. Help anyone? Thanks,

The Family Tree sounds great. I'll drum up the card from Australia that gives us a head start.
Two things I'd like to make sure are included, if it doesn't derail the idea: 1) have it added to the wiki at http://various.wikibruce.com/39Clues so we can tweak as needed, and 2) make annotations so we know where the relationships came from.
I think "cousins" can also be a generic term used for any relatives close to your age.

As far as music card message #11, I can't help. Maybe someone else can assist, without taking this thread too far off the "Family Tree" subject.

Edit: HighTideOnRhum's post on page 37 of the trailhead thread, has an attachment with comments.

 		The key on the family tree card shows which lines are for Offspring, which lines are for Married, and which lines are for Divorced.

Since having separate lines for Married & Divorced in an ascii family tree is a little cumbersome, I will provide this key to the ascii family tree:

Aunt Beatrice was married and divorced 3 times, to the men connected with ==== signs. (interesting that they have distinctly Italian, French, and Russian names)
For everyone else, if you see a | going down, it means offspring.
Other than Aunt Beatrice, if you see ==== they were married.
Special notes:
  • In 1899 Henry Cahill became a widower when Flora Cahill St. James died, leaving him with 2 year old James Cahill.
  • Henry Cahill re-married Hae-In Oh, and had 2 kids Gordon Oh and Bae Oh.
  • Gordon and Bae were born in the same year, possibly twins.
  • Bae is a boy Korean name, so assume that Bae is Alistair's uncle.
  • Bae is head of the Ekats.

The Family tree lists James Cahill as dying in 1959, and Fiske Cahill disappearing in 1962. But the Cahill web makes it sound like James was alive when Fiske went missing.

I have been looking through all the posts and have noticed a few people have posted, but haven't shared their camera card codes with us. Now would be a great time to come clean.
