I definitely vote for it being a game as none of the media predates April 14th. Well, that and of course threats to the character from mysterious corporations that buy all manner of strange antiquities. (And the page here lists their number under a 555).

Well, I've interacted with a few of the accounts and they're certainly responsive. I'm not hugely great with getting the "right" information out of live game characters.

I've suggested that Obrad try contacting a private detective about the threats as the Charlie Parker character is one. Other than that I really don't have any clue as how to move the plot forward, so some more people on this thing would be great.

I've been followed by Jimmy Jewel and Jeremiah Webber too, so this must be a game after all. I was quite convinced after doing a search for Jimmy Jewel and finding a wikipedia page about a deceased actor... There are also some pages in facebook and myspace about Jeremiah Webber, but they don't seem to be part of the game.

I got followed by all of these too, and dismissed it because I currently have a team putting together a game and I thought they were accounts that I hadn't been briefed on yet.

But it seems to be a whole thing.

Also, Obrad is local to me, which is kind of weird.

to those that have been in since the first can us newcomers get a brief summary of whats been going on? also are there any more accounts that are active in this and what about the mention of @antiquitydealer by jeremiahwebb? anything to that specific post?

It seems that the antiquties dealer JeremiahWebb had come into possession of a Grimoire, which is a magical spell book. Apparently he had some trouble getting rid of it, but was able to sell it either last Thursday or Friday. The sale of this object apparently somehow allowed him to remove some obligation he had to Guttlieb, perhaps a financial debt he owed them?

I've created a Twitter account of my own, Large_Wu, in order to ask Mr Webb more about this Grimoire transaction.

Update: JeremiahWebb seems to repeatedly imply that the Grimoire cover is supposed to be made of calf skin, but might possibly be made of human skin. Creepy. And he can possibly acquire another one?
