Whats going on with Jacob Fielding?
I havent been able to post here for months due to work Sad -anyhoo, I thought I would post this to see if we can get this thing rolling...
Book is "Thirteen Days to Midnight" by Patrick Carman (author of Skeleton Creek, Ghost in the Machine, 39 Clues book #5 "The Black Circle" etc. He is very involved with cross-platform stories and ARG's). After mousing through the clues HERE I checked his site and saw the following confirmatin about this: "Thirteen Days to Midnight ARG launches".
The product description is:

- Enchanted Forest theme park (Salem, Oregon) receipt for 2 adults, -I haven't looked at the barcode or the website.
-Music CD w/songs and other text listed
- Coffin Books (haven't looked into it)
- Video titled "Lighter", shows someone (Jacob?) with seeming invincibility

Things would have been alot easier for me.

This is how it went down,
or at least how I remember it.
I dont have a superhuman memory,
but I can tell you this much for sure:

I killed a guy, maybe two. Possibly Three.
I have one power.
Not two or three or four. Just one.
I met a girl and she changed everything

 		Not to be annoying or anything, but the first thing I noticed when I looked at the poem was the splotch at the bottom that looks EXACTLY like an image from Que13e.com

Okay. So, it actually looks good. As long as it doesn't turn out like Skeleton Creek and just kinda drop to nowhere land.

Could be stock footage. I have at least three stock images of waterstains that are similar to those. Never know when I might need 'em... Wink

I was gunna press to talk to the watchman during the closed season, but ended up going with '0' for personal assiatance. Let's just say, I got someone and hung up.

*sigh* This is me...failing at ARGs cause I'm paranoid. Embarassed That does sound pretty real though. I mean, They said hello and I just listened. They said "Hello?"

So maybe if someone, other than me, some sort of clue could be found?...

Hey sakai23, speaking about the Creek, Carman launched episode #2 and I just opened up a thread about that HERE. -Check it out if you want to see what hes doing this time around for Skeleton Creek.

 		Speaking about Skeleton Creek, the SCI site is using the same Flash framework as this one: same percentage countdown, same video player, etc...


ETA: And the SCI Facebook page posted a link to this. Kinda unorthodox, but what the hell. Razz

Although I called at 11.06PM PST, I connected with the night watchman and directly asked him in a coy way about "13 Days to Midnight". He fein complete ignorance and claimed he had nothing to do with the park or when it would re-open.

I think called again and choose "0" for "personal assistance" but at this late hour, no one was available.
I did leave my mobile number in a message voicemail.

Who knows what more will happen, if anything.

Everyone find the video down by the brake pedal? Shows a person (looks male to me) lighting a lighter, slowly lowering his hand to the flam, and demonstrating that, even though he touched the flame, there's no burn on his hand.

things i've seen in the clues?
Don't know if it helps but there's some stuff i've noticed. When you zoom in while looking at the dashboard of the car, it says "Information Center" above the steering wheel. Also the odometer reads 50932, or 60932.

Also on Carman's site he mentions 5 things of importance, one of them is that the H.S. he went to is the one the high school in the book is based on, don't know how that fits in, but there can only be so many H.S.'s in salem that are as old as he is and before?

Also in the last paragraph of the note, he says "i may have killed a guy, maybe two..." the numbers he's throwing out turn into 123 1 234 1. don't know how this fits, but wondering if has anything to do with the circled numbers on the cd?
