Old-style photo/video generator tools?

One free option for vids is actually Windows Movie Maker. Look under effects for gray, sepia and film old, older, oldest. All give different sorts of distortion. Depends on what you want to do. I'm sure there are better...

I assume you mean "free" tools... 'cause Photoshop and Premiere can do all that, but they aren't "free" by a long shot (each one is worth more than my car).

If you're looking for a free soft, GIMP may help you. Just Google it. It's kind of like photoshop BUT free. That would do for images. For video, yup, you could use Windows Movie Maker. But if your PC is like mine (WMM makes it crash for no known reason) there is also the Windows Live Movie Maker, which comes with MSN (and needs downloading). I've never tried it, though.
