if you're wanting to Halloween it up - i looked into the materials - you want to make an electroluminescent circuit - battery powered of course - the stuff thats perfect for this is called EL TAPE - its like 1 cm thick and comes in rolls 5 feet long. the film looks like they used foam latex (myth busters style/bat man style) for the close ups and slid the tape into pre-molded grooves - for the action shots i think they did some blue screen with spandex green man type suits and everything was digitized in later.

definitely a challenging build for a costumer / cosplay

no offense, but i had a well planned tron suit design for halloween 2009 using EL Wire. in my opinion, its great for a tron suit, not so cool for a tron legacy suit.

not to mention, tron like suits are going to be available to the public reletively soon. Nike amongst other companies are reproducing the technology in their own ways.
