Oh look, i have to go save alex! This may be the last time you hear from me! Think about it, it could be an unfortunate possibility, but marblehornets could be completely over with this last Entry 26.

This did cross my mind, especially with the way that 'I thank you for your help' at the end came across, but I really hope it wouldn't end without answering a single goddamn thing. :[

Sadly, this may very well be true. There is always hope, though, that there will be more.

While we're hoping, maybe somebody will give JAF a PROPER ending.

It didn't seem like an ending to me at all. Even if they were going to go for a cliffhanger ending, I think there would have been something more definite in the last entry. It would be understandable to have a cliffhanger ending if a few minor questions were answered, but there didn't seem to be anything that suggested closure in entry 26.

So hopefully it'll just be a break; maybe they're going on hiatus for a while.

Uh, there have been enough opportunities to do that but they still haven't, ie the "I have to go back into the house".

The ridiculous and premature speculation on this board is really annoying.

Eh, if people didn't speculate, what would be the point of making stuff like Marble Hornets? People need shit to talk about, man. It's like Lost, so much shit going on you just gotta talk about it somewhere.

Yeah, the house is repetative, but at least each visit brought something new and different to the table, instead of the same thing all three times.

One can always hope they decide to continue and answer all the unsolved questions, right?

They wouldn't do this to us - they know us too well to leave us with a cliffhanger.

There was no explanation, no satisfaction, nothing. They're not stupid, you know. They're smart enough to keep this forum guessing about everything.

Yeah right. When they decide to end it, believe me, we'll know. They're not going to end with him getting a brand new tape, just learning that Alex is still alive, and seeing him get stalked by Slendy, and not confirm that he's not okay.

exactly, the way this has been put together from the beginning makes it real obvious that it wouldnt be ended like that. while they may not answer everything we want in the end, it wont be like this. As others have said, this felt more like a "to be continued at a later date" than a "the end"

I completely disagree this is the end, nor do I think this is the "end of season 1" as many speculated.

I don't see how you could end it here, as the "hero" J promises to go save the day and not finish it.

There are just simply far too many unanswered questions, the and the makers should feel compelled to explain the major points at the minimum to the audience (they should feel the need at least in my opinion).

I don't want to believe this is the end, but I can't help but feel that it might be. Narrative convention aside, the tone of Jay's 'goodbyes' at the end of the video seem to imply that either it's over, or it's going on significant hiatus. :/

You know what? I love the ending, and that's not just the easily excitable fangirl in me. Considering that it sounded like the creators were planning on having Jay offed when the first set out on this (at least, so I heard was mentioned on the SA forums... though I haven't found evidence!) this is the best possible ending, in my opinion.

The tone is hopeful, not dour. Jay is most likely thoroughly screwed, but they totally end this on an up-note!

The most important question that was created at the beginning of the series -- "where the frak is Alex?!" was answered, with a new hook.

More backstory was introduced for us to worry and scrap over.

Jay interacted with us to say his goodbyes.

I like that there are all of these questions left unanswered or hinted at. The creators seem say, "here, have something to chew on, whether or not we do get back to this." This is a The Cat Who Walked Through Walls sort of ending, as far as I can see it... only with a hopeful ending instead of a pessimistic one. If we want, we can imagine that things go well. If the creators do come back to the series, they've set us up for the highest possible high point to contrast any further shit that is inevitably going to go down!

blah blah blah, teal dear: Yay I liked the ending, I'm fine with it ending there, though I hope that they pick it up again some day!

It wont end there. They said they'd do a fan Q&A when it was over, right? Well wait for that before you call it over.
Keep in mind people, these are college kids, they have lives, finals, and maybe they might even want to go on, god forbid, a couple weeks of vacation here and there.

It seems like after every entry now, enough thinks it's end game and actually take that idea seriously. They could have ended it this way, like I said earlier, when he said he was going back to the house, but they didn't. This is just ridiculous and you're all wasting your time. Instead of spouting pointless speculation that's going nowhere, why don't you go talk about something else?
