Introduction:
The spectacular live event in Edinburgh of the Alternate Reality Game "66 Letters" is over for several days now. So it's time to tell you what happend during our journey through Edinburgh mainly in the search / hunt for Fiona on Friday and Saturday.

Participants in the Live Events:
- Lairosiel, Aron (winners of the Thatch and Sons' competition)
- Minourieuse and Morpheus (traveled on their own)
You could watch the live event via:
Blog, Twitter, live stream and via IRC
"Friday 5/28/10. 6 o'clock in the morning. Suitcase is packed. 7.25 o'clock. The train to Munich airport departs. No trace of excitement.
9.46 o'clock. Arriving at the airport. Checked in. 12.50 o'clock. The plane takes off. Stop in Amsterdam. 3.50 pm the plane starts its final descent.
5pm I arrived at our hotel. Pretty, small, comfortable.
Shortly after, we went to the Guilford Arms, cause we wanted to meet Minou and Morpheus at 8pm.Once there, we had our first Cider. We discussed our plan how to tell Fiona the whole story and the truth, and at 9pm a young lady, who was obviously stressed out, entered the pub. As she rushed past us, we revealed ourselves as being the guys she wanted to meet. We were talking about a lot of unrelated stuff, until we came to the true reasons why we wanted to find her. Fiona was visibly shocked, pushed her soup away theatrically, took our number and left the pub, allegedly she forgot something in the gallery. We spooned out her soup quickly and followed her.
Unfortunately the gallery was closed, so we rambled around the area, looking for the places we knew from Fiona's blog. At some point we realized that someone was following us. At first we thought it was pure coincidence, but it was too strange to be just by accident. Morpheus bravely walked up to him. It was Jan, an ex-boyfriend of Fiona. He told us that the person we have met wasn't Fiona, but Morag Friskin, her roommate. Morag already pretended to be Fiona from time to time. After an unsuccessful trip to the Wee Red Bar (5 pounds! And then there was only psychedelic techno crap music and 4 people inside) we went to our hotels. At 8 am there was a knock at my door. Aron received a call from the police, they would pick us up at about 9 am. Shortly after Minou and Morpheus arrived at the hotel DC Black and DS Hepburn stalked around the corner to lead us into a smelly, stinky building. Once there we weren't allowed to talk to each other and each was interviewed individually by those two officers. Apparently we had stumbled into a murder case, as Morag was killed a few hours after our meeting and with our number in her pocket. (DC Black was such an assh*le, DS Hepburn was the good cop during the interrogation)
At some point we were allowed to go, but should not leave the country. So we decided to go for a coffee and a snack in a cozy little cafe to plan our next steps.
Soon we received a SMS from the people in Germany: they told us that Fiona lives in the Forth Street. We rang at the appropriate door and a lady named Zoe opened the door and she told us about Fiona and her condition. We came up with the idea to seek Fiona's retreat, perhaps she was just there. After some debate, we arrived at Calinda's Grave at the Canongate Kirkyard. Then there was a woman who ate sandwiches - the woman Fiona had mentioned in her blog. Thanks to her we found a Book of E.A. Poe, with some annotations inside and the phone number of Roger Hayward, Fionas "Dad" . Under the pretext of giving back the book, he told us that he is at the Elephant House.
After our arrival we told him of the murder of Morag and our suspicion that actually Fiona was the murderer's target but he/she mistook Morag for Fiona (Morag wore Fiona's coat at this time) . Roger was very upset, responded to the photo of Carla with a "Yes similarities, but nothing more" and promised us to call us if he should hear from Fiona. He told us about another retreat of his daughter - Calton Hill.
Once at the top, we looked around and played tourists for a while, it was such a great and beautiful place to be. Unfortunately, it was very windy and somewhat wet, but we enjoyed the outlook nevertheless. Soon we discovered Fiona.
During the interview, we found out that Victoria Chandler-Lytton married Roger Hayward , and Fiona thinks that she's her mother. Tori is now dead since 1991, she had a car accident.
Some days ago Fiona was found with cutted wrists, but she believes that someone wanted to kill her. In the hospital she needed a blood transfusion, and there she was told that neither her "father" Roger nor her Mum had her blood type. (Fiona has B, Roger and Tori A)
Finally we went to Fiona's apartment, where she asked for a few minutes for herself. Meanwhile Morpheus, Aron and me took a break at a Pub, while Minou could finally live out her 30 minutes of shopping.
Soon we returned to Fiona's house, where the team of vm-people welcomed us. There was a reading of Zoe Beck's book "The old child". It was interesting, the questions a lil .. nitty from time to time in my opinion.. so I never wanted to know what a writer's desk look like, but, well... After the reading we went to a Thai restraunt, eating, chatting (not in Thai) and drinking.

That's it. I think our small detective team had a lot to laugh, to speculate, to drink, eat, and do not forget to run. Thank you very much vm-people, that I had the chance to participate in this truly extraordinary event. Thank you Zoe Beck, her book shortens the time during the flight and the waiting and I have to say that the story is just superduper great. Thanks to Morpheus, Aron and Minou, you guys are awesome, it was a lot of fun and it's been a pleasure to meet you. And of course also a thank you very much to the board members who helped us diligent with all those riddles and provided us with tips and good wishes.
Hope we play along together again soon. And you really should buy " The Old Child" by Zoe Beck, so you know who's behind all those events and tragic moments in Carla's and Fiona's lifes. "
