From what I've been reading online it's Produced by Steven Spielberg (JJ is blowin it up man!) set in the 70's, and is very Close Encounters of the Third Kind feel... What's crazy is I've been watching that movie here and there when I'm bored, (I love classic films especially spielber0g. This is awesome even if its not cloverfield related, I do beleive we maybe getting a new thread. I'm sooooo stoked! Think about it we also have comic con in 2 months HERE WE GO AGAIN FOLKS!!!

It's already out there. They said that there were definetely some codes and colors going on in the teaser. So Color coded clues lol

Ok, here's what I'm thinking. #1 Spielberg wouldn't do a sequel to Cloverfield. Right?

#2. It mentions "Area 51" which is notoriously (and wrong factually) known for "aliens". However, lets face facts: If you watched Cloverfield WITHOUT knowledge of the viral story, you thought the monster fell from the sky right? Of course, us "Awesomely knowledged" (AKA geeks like us) Cloverfield fans know the monster was discovered by Tagruato Corporation in the 1960's.

So, since JJ said "it's not related to Cloverfield" I guess it's not. I guess. BUT, the fact this movie over a YEAR away, there's plenty of time to change the tune of this. Maybe Spielberg liked Cloverfield. The story was always about a PREQUEL to Cloverfield, so, maybe, just maybe, this is the prequel to Cloverfield.

With that thought in mind, with the actual trailer, the train is derailed ON PURPOSE.
Maybe someone wanted to keep a secret? Tagruato?

Hey Stella, I just saw it in Tucson and they played it. EPIC! I got goosebumps like 5 times... I swear I saw SLU5H0 on the liscense plate...
