I know, I was guessing that that was why he said something about Ohio.

Wright-Patterson AFB, most likely, Hangar 18. Already discussed.

It does if someone (IG, presumably) is posting publicly (ie - posting questions, info, or guesses/theories in public places).

Trout me if you will but has anyone suggested that this "Stop posting publicly" may be a clue to the "device" log in? I guess what I am trying to say is maybe this person telling us to "stop posting publicly" wants us to get on a secure line/channel/server? Perhaps we must find the terminology in the PDP-11 for "secure" communication or "private chat" etc.

I think we're at a standstill now until one of the pages is updated or we get a response from our astronaut applications but I like the way you think.

First Post!

So I spent a few hours last night reading this thread from page 13 on. I have done all there is to do as of now other than send in my popeteers card. I want to make sure I have the address right. This is What I have:

Poppeteers
P.O. Box #1331
Minnot, ND 58702

Is this correct?

There is only one "n" in Minot. Other than that you're good to go.

So what is the hidden message when you overlay the 2 newspaper ads? I'm just not seeing it.

Really sorry if the points already been brought up. But if we've established that the paper is from the 60's, and the film is set in the 70's does that mean that

a) The creature has been loose before?
b) This message is from the people who originally found it?
c) It's simply an old newspaper that's been used to code a new message?
d) Dates don't matter at all.

Sorry it's just confusing me a bit. Razz
(I'm also a bit of a noob to all this)
