Damn my job! By the time I got home and played through SPO, all the codes were found. Don't you people have jobs? Work? Eat? Sleep? Somthing?????? Shocked

Seriously though, good job folks. I might try to work on the high score. Would be cool to get on the board if possible.

Yes, we steadfast ARGs are godlike in our sensational solutions of viral vexing exploits! By the way, not to 'thread title nitpick', but shouldn't someone update and put "[Puzzle][Solved]" in this thread's title since masterfully solved...and in what seems 'record time'? Just a thought....

sometimes i wonder if they watch the progress we make and how quickly it's done and are surprised. you know they want it to be a little difficult for the challenge factor, but i wonder if stuff gets figured out faster than they anticipate.

Unless the medium that you are moving in, even though not air, has a density and resistance to movement that can be reduced by a certain construction design. Perhaps electrical charge or some quantum force?

I suppose it could be the resistivity of the material the signal is being sent through.

I admit that I'm getting a tad disturbed by the role Flynn is taking. But at the same time, I'm happy about that because I think that you are supposed to be disturbed. The original movie was clearly a not-so-subtle commentary on religion and society, and it is interesting to see how Flynn has been... adjusting into the role of deity. And he is determined to do it right. At least initially. By the time of the trailers we've seen, there is trouble in the paradise he has tried to create. I am very, very eager for the story.

yep...Waterborn2o2p: damn job, i just wanted to see if something new happened and WUSH: new puzzle solved. hm ok the resulting images are amazing for me (3d artist)..the rest is kinda boring for people "not sitting in front of the pc all day and night"

sorry if i anger someone with this, but for me: i´m done with this board if there is no real deal to get in play without reading 130 post from the last 30 minutes..chill down guys. On the offical StarTrek ARG, we were playing on one puzzle for days! and...i recognized something: the puzzles for this arg are too easy to solve, i hope for something deeper. things that we all can´t solve in one night.

cheers =)

SIMPLICITY

Something tells me that's sort of by design, at least at this point. It feels like Disney wants to make sure this ARG is as accessible as possible -- you don't quite have the built-in audience like you did with movies like Star Trek or Dark Knight, where the ARGs were really created for ARG fans.

So, their efforts here seem easier and more approachable by more "casual" ARG fans (myself included), to get more eyeballs looking at (and blogs talking about) the movie as early as possible. Although I loved TRON, it's still considered by most of the world to be a sort of "cult hit", and all this early exposure either means that Disney is *very* confident about Legacy or they're *very* nervous about it.

hm yep..finally it must be accessable to everyone. i was just a little hm angry not to be online at the right time.

I´m checking the flynnlives board and this board every morning/night (before and after work).

Its cruel when something new is coming between this time and is solved in some hours only. Even if its Disney, i dont think that a normal commercial driven human is going to play arg's Wink
For example, many of my friends cant wait to see tron legacy, but never heard of this arg or tried it out after i told them..

Try the codes from prior events. All those one time entry things for the live locations and such.

Job? Games are my job. Wink

Aren't they yours too? I remember seeing your handle in a press application for an event I run. Razz

Sorry. Just had to share...
Years ago, in electronics school for the Army, a group of us were into D&D and one guy (Named Flynn, coincidentally) created a dungeon based on one of the radio circuits we were studying. So, if you went through a resistor, you'd shrink. You could only go through a diode one way. A transistor would give you extra strength. etc. Thanks for making me remember that. Good times!

EDIT: I just realized. That was 1982!

Based on the pace of things so far, maybe 1-2 weeks. Most I think we've waited was 3 weeks. The movie is still 6 months away, so they can't give you something every day - the ARG would cost as much as the film itself.

We haven't finished chewing all the fine details out of what came around today.
