[OT][OOG] Student Film - Cloverfield Style Nice film I thought you guys might like this. Has nothing to do with the ARG or Super 8 but it's pretty cool.

[EDIT] You have to watch it in full screen mode cause it's in French and you need to see the subtitles
edit - titled, certainly made me jump! - MikeyJ

That's pretty well done. I love these nobody guys who come out of nowhere and produce such high quality effects and visuals for these little films. Kind of like the work that was being done by Neill Blomkamp the District 9 director. There's also another guy out there who made a little movie about giant robots attacking a city that looked fantastic too, can't remember his name though.

Wow That's sick. Really awesome.
I think the robot video you're talking about is this one:

it's directed by Fede Alvarez.

Yup, that would be it. I rather like that one, but it's kind of silly that they spend the whole time attacking the city like that only to just blow the hell out of it, think they would've just done that to begin with lol.

If you like these amateur video/documentary style films, have a look at this one , if you can find a copy (and believe me, it's not easy).
This thread is going to make me want to watch Cloverfield, District 9, and order a copy of the above film.

Euchre, are streaming links allowed to be posted here? If so I found a link on megavideo.com where you can watch this film.
