Hello i've searched i lot before posting ... ( btw i'm new on the website )
first tried to search for a similar simulator, or similar used commands ... but nothing the only helpful thing I thing found is this :

CR: Card reader
DTx: Dectape
DX: RX01 Disk
DP: Disk pack
LP: Line printer
MT: Magnetic tape
DK: Default user drive
SY: Default system drive
TT: Teletype

in the simulator we have , we can see DX and DK
in the device command line I used , .mount mount and lot of commands with those drive or devices that i listed but nothing
wish it could help someone.

Hey guys and gals (and others)...first posting, let's see if I can get trouted right out of the gate. I did search first!

Anyway, we have two printed items. First, the pages properly aligned gave us:

no certainty if a live may be after us we go underground

Which is certainly atmospheric but that's about it.

The pages also led to rocketpoppeteers.com, but nothing to be found there either (so far...still waiting to see if anyone gets anything back in the mail from Minot).

The other printed item was from the hidden print box behind the PDP-11 simulator on the desktop:

Stop posting publicly. I can answer your questions.
I have proof.

>>>>

What if these two messages work together in some way? There's one obvious thing that came to mind on the second message - "i" can answer your questions. Maybe that doesn't mean a person, but the actual letter "i"?

I also find it a bit weird that the second message is laid out as it is. Why is "I have proof" down a line? The first line is only 51 characters, and I'm pretty sure even old dot matrix printers printed at least 80 characters.

So far this line of thinking is getting me nowhere on my own...thought I would see what others think.

P.S. I think I saw something somewhere on this question, but I can't find it...does anyone know what sort of desktop that is we're remote viewing the PDP-11 simulator on? I don't recognize those icons.

Good effort there, Loukt.
I guess it will at some point in the game become the right way to go.
But as of now it seems to be a "dead end".

Don't like your "hacking" though Wink.

Not sure if this was brought up or not..

Was noticing the numbers after the file names

A5RSR.BAS 11
A5RST.BAS 15
RSCOMB.DAT 13
A5RSR1.WRK 5
CL03.WRK 2
DD09.WRK 2
GRMF55.WRK 5
FATR7.WRK 3
FATR8.WRK 8
GMRF36.TXT 5
GMRF71.TXT 4

I may be wrong on this.. but wasn't it on the 13th the update when the RSCOMB file was open for access? Possible future file access/updates on particular dates? Or it could just be an odd coincidence.

interesting. So, when it says "I have proof" you think it was printed in prose to mean "use I as a proof for a code". Or perhaps the person's name. If we knew that. It may be a dead end, but it is interesting that it was printed in prose like that. We may just have to wait for this said "proof" or find it ourselves. This puzzle is prooving to be a difficult one, that's for sure.

For Fun =>

no certainty if a live may be after us we go underground

=> go underground , means use underground manner , means go hack

*out*

I repeat just for fun xD I'm not serious about it ><

I thought about another thing

RSCOM8 is the printable file , RS COM 8 RS will be the printer name
in the port COM 8 ? or i'm just over thinking --'
