[UPDATE] Wongmo Mailbag, 10/25 Did anyone else notice that the Wongmo's mailbag update on 10/25 has a letter from "P.G." that looks like it is probably from Phillip? (Or someone pretending to be him)

If my theory that Wongmo and Kane are the same fellow is correct, my guess is that Wongmo wrote that letter, as a way of communicating indirectly with Phillip, or perhaps just making him angry.

One of the letters comes from an M.J. Her experience sounds a lot like "The Chronicles of Narnia".

Has this happened to you? This morning I did something I haven't done since my
childhood. I stood in front of my closet, expecting a portal into a fantasy world.
When I pushed the hanging coats out of the way and put my hand back, I felt back of
the closet. But for just a moment I thought I felt a breeze. But my window was
closed.
My friend thinks I'm going crazy. What do you think?

Answer:
Listen to the sounds that you cannot hear, see the things you cannot see.

Okay, I can't even keep a straight face. That was me everyone. M.J. stands for Melissa Johnson. Yay, I got quoted! God I feel like one of those idiots who gets on tv and says Hi mom! I promised I would never be that person.
And yes, I love Chronicles of Narnia. Can't wait for the movie.
[EDIT] Actually I think this is important. If we want to find out what letters are in-game and what was sent by players we'll have to fess up. This is a multiplayer game afterall. It'd be that much better to work as a team. I do think that P.G. is Phillip. He praises wongmo lengthily, but never makes any annoyingly in-your-face statements about the matrix (or matrix like experiences in my case). But just to be sure, who here got quoted? Then we can narrow it down a bit. Actually I think that's what we're supposed to do.
Miss Starchild, you can find the P.G. letter here .

This isn't the only reference to Narnia. In one of her blogs, Dina at thenekodas.com mentions her love of the Narnia stories. And if you do a search for "narnia" on her site, you get the following:
Quote:
We've all had dreams, as children. What were your aspirations for adulthood? It all seems so fuzzy now, looking back. I can't quite remember what I must've yearned for as a wee little kiddy Dina. That seems odd to...
Edit: Niobexrev, you may have posted the Narnia reference as a joke, but could the PMs have picked up on this? Most intriguing!

Yes, that is my message word for word. But ah snap, I feel so stupid i didn't even check out dina's website yet. Seriously? I might have been onto something and I was just joking. LOL

Way to go! You're influencing Game Reality!
Maybe we should send Wongo some references to "Monkey". I'd love to see the PMs work that floating cloud into the plotline!

Seriously though, I think it's a good idea to speak up if you got quoted, just to help us narrow it down. But I still believe that letter is from the real Phillip Gairden.

Wongmo!
Where do you get your inspiration for your works? They're fabulous!
- A wongmo fan
Answer:
Inspiration is all around you. In the trees you walk under, the air you breathe, the fire that feeds your soul. Perhaps you can attend one of Wongmo's seminars on "Striking the Match of Inspiration on the Sandpaper of your Brain" to learn how to ignite the creative spark in you. It exists, Wongmo guarantees it…but sometimes it takes a little help to be able to do so effortlessly.
--Wongmo
Sad to say, it 'twas I who posted this one. Like most, I thought it'd never get published...
Bwaaa haa haa.... "They're fabulous!"
What a load of rot... Although his New Age songs aren't too bad.
What do you all think, should I e-mail him back and try to see when the next seminar is?

do dolphins taste good?
Answer:
“The ocean rushes in and dulls the teeth of the dolphin.” That is to say, they may not taste “good” but dolphins do indeed taste well enough to have distinct likes and dislikes.

LOL. Awesome question.

If there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Then how is
it that we know which path to take?
Answer:
Wongmo believes that in choosing the path ahead, the one-ness of duality is found by seeking the soul of the provider.

If this is the real phil, we should notice this 'change of heart' in his emails to beth and stuff in the future
I wrote the spacetime dream ripple theory letter from last week
I dunno, i just don't think it's really phil

Phil never had a problem with Wongmo. Wongmo accepts the paranormal. He was mad at Beth (er, supposedly since he said he didn't mean to send it) for discrediting those who accept the paranormal. In his younger days he was a cynic, but now he's the Mulder of the story and accepts the paranormal as another truth. I totally think that he's capable of writing something like that. Either that's Phillip Gairden, or one of us who should major in creative writing or journalism.
