I also believe that RasGold is the creator of all three blogs. He opened up on another forum i lurk that he worked at paramount on the 500Rads blog and was removed from that project so he doesn't know who runs it now.

Rolling Eyes Seemed like bullshite to me then, still smells like bullshite to me now.

First off let me say that I am not familiar with RasGold and what ever happened on purpose..

From the 500 site on the right hand side of the blog is a link to "view full profile" on the view full profile page there is a link for an "audio message" those are the links I have posted... I'm not just grabbing random links from across the web .. they are all connected pages...

I was just tossing it out there as interesting Smile if RasGold is a known spook then I apologize for tossing gas on the fire Smile

You're still missing the point. They are not connected pages just because someone threw a link up there. Look I could throw a web site up and link to yahoo, does that make yahoo involved with my site? The person who made 500rads liked the audio clip from the other site and so they linked to it, it's that simple. It does not make the other site involved in any way shape or form.

ETA:
There is a youtube video on 500rads from this person, http://www.youtube.com/user/chiklets99 do you think their 44 family videos dating back up to 3 years ago are also linked to 500rad?!? No.

Like we've been saying they grab random images/video/audio from across the net and link to it.

I was accused of being J.J. and posting random links to throw people off track.

However, someone had mirrored my profile page and used the S/N RasGo1d (with a "one" in place of the "L"), and harassed a few of the IMDb members. I notified IMDb staff and his account was banned.

I did post some items that we not available, tho:
A movie clip from a friend in London who had taped the Helicopter Green Screening shots from across a field.
A clip of the Cloverield (Teaser) audio track which contained "It's Godzilla!" (which is in there, btw.)
And, because I use an "Updater" program on a separate computer, I was "pinged" when a website would update information. Thus I was able to post within seconds (If I was home) any updates from 1-18-08, Slusho!, JamieandTeddy, Tagruato ... etc.

I didn't know anything about Unfiction back then.

I'm a HUGE monster film/fan. And Cloverfield caught my interest (you can surely tell from my personal blog: http://rasgold.blogspot.com/). But I am no-way involved with 500rads.

I mean, the main thing for us is - we have the one only official trail website, which is scariestthingieversaw.com. (OK, I hope we will get more soon). Officiality is given in the momentum of linking from official sources somewhere, not in another direction.

Say, ScariestThing should be official, since it was linked from the trailer. The sites, we'll find with help of scariestthing should also be official. But if we find a source, linking to scariestthing, it is with 98% not official, but gamejack.

Another websites we've seen till now are OOG or fan fiction. I like fan fiction and actually I once did my own fan fiction ARG (Lausher Hans) playing character from another cool ARG V.I.T.D.. So I can understand the enjoynment of enhancing ARG worlds with own imagination. But this should be separated.

So whoever is making RAD 500 blog, it's, again, nice fan fiction, and has right for its existance, but separated from our discussion. Because otherwise our people will be confused and in worst case will stay away from Super 8, and this is the least thing I want. So let's separate it - and for this purpose is this [OOG]-thread the greatest solution.

Short: let's fanfiction remain fanfiction and not gamejack. Because fanfiction is creative, gamejack is contraproductive.

Clarification: The "puppet master" ended up in the hospital, paralyzed from the chest down in early April.
I was cut-off from any info at that time.
Since then, I've gotten a couple notifications claiming new involvement, but that guy seems to have disappeared. - c.111111[at]hotmail.com

Like I said. I was taken out of the loop.
You do realize, the header changed on May 2nd ... Days before the trailer appeared (officially).
And, don't you think, if the current makers of the blog worked for PARAMOUNT (with inside information-however little it may be), they would be fired for doing this? Unless it's part of some type of "plan?"

Geeze! Back in December (before all this happened) a little birdie mentioned super 8 film (as I had lost my prints in a house fire) being the vanguard for modern-day movie makers.

Seriously, with Cloverfield there were like 20 some-odd sites if I recall. We have even MORE time now (I think?) than with Cloverfield for some (pardon mah French) douchebags to come up with some bullcrap.

Although...that one guy, Blooper...he made some funny stuff.
