can some one pleeeeeeeeeease help me with this, I know this has been mentioned before but I didn't see any one taking it further?

In the trailer at 01:23 if you go through frame by frame from the one after the boys face, there's something redish brown there, then its gone, then it's back, then the camera starts zooming out or the user is backing away from what is coming out, then the redish brown thing starts to rise up. When there's a flash of light from behind you can sort of see through it.

In the frame right before the flash of light to me it looks like a hand holding something, I just don't have the software to do a proper zoom in of that image...

Can anyone do it for me please? just to have a look?

I can't find the image I want at wikibruce.

I really suck at advanced maths, never really learned that. But "integer value" is a term I heard once. Might the "i" on the pole/beam in the trailer have some meaning in that way? Just a question, I don't have a clue.

don't think so, the term integer is used to refer to a data type which represents a subset of the mathematical integers.. so like 8 bytes, I think, bytes is the integer then there's a range that applies to that.

I think it got mentioned a little while ago but you're right nothing came of it. I'll quote the post. I'm pretty sure this is what you're referring to.

In the animation on page two it is clear that there are distinct reflections. I have processed a screen capture from one of the flashes and enhanced it in PS. The results are below.

The unedited image from the trailer:

The image with the filters applied (notice that the objects in the reflection zone light up):

Here is a close up of the reflection zone:

There seems to be a round shape with a symbol of some sort in it (???as well as a sort of face???)

Here the picture is with the round object circled with a black brush to make the lines a bit harder:

To me it looks like a reflection of the train wreckage. Could be something else, though.

thanks Vapor, that is the post, but the wrong part was eventually highlighted in the pic.

If you run through the frames I'm sure you'll see what I mean, it's the only thing that seems to have any colour, redish brown when everything else is mono...

I can accomplish the task, but I need to know which 'frame' you're talking about. [Does a QT player actually show accurate film-frame by film-frame images, or just video 'frames'?] I've watched the section backwards and forwards and don't see what you're referencing.

Assuming your QT player operates the same as mine, can you say exactly how many clicks your frame is after the last image of the boy's face? Or a short range of frames which demonstrate the change in image?

film edge: I paused it at 01:23, at the boys face, then I'm just usung my arrow keys to take me through.

it's clearly a different colour from the rest of the shot. it changes shape a bit too.

thank you!!! [/img]

Yes, I know that. HOW MANY clicks are you progressing until you see the 'frame' or object you're asking about??

sorry little slow, it's been a long Monday at work..

ok, from the boys face at 01:23

1 click i see it, 3rd click i see it, 4th click it changes shape into like a rectangle thats rising up, on the 7th click that's when it is tallest, then 8th it's gone, 9th is the flash of light.

so can we use the 7th click from the boys face please?

someone made a quick gif of those last frames after the kid

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=703754#703754

says they seem out of order, and in fact they do, if i saw what your asking about, it looks like it's a red barrel that keeps changing position

yes they're the frames, don't think its a barrel though as you can see through it when the light shines from behind.
