after watching that, i'm starting to think that Minker is a GJ entirely. The CL stuff, was that before or after the new picture from STIES?

There are more numbers in the trailer.

Toward the end of the trailer, as the camera approaches the wreckage of the train, it passes over a bunch of computer equipment and crates. One of the crates near the center of the frame has a number on the side of it.

I can't read the number, nor can I capture the frame. Maybe someone else can?

 		hey all... bored looking for stuff.. reviewing old stuff and noticed..

if you look at the scariestthingieversaw wording frames here's the link to bruces page STIES there seems to be extra letters in the frames.

most notable between scariest and thing and then at the end an overlapped W.

Good eye, and I like the way your thinking.

I think it's the frames overlapping on the film. You can see the faint outlines of the letters in one frame from the frame prior. They would match up if you overlap them.

 		With an image hosted online, you can also add it to your post by typing in the URL, highlight the URL, then click the 'Img' button above the text entry box.

Then it appears in your post rather than as an attachment:

At first, I thought everyone was crazy with the whole "In theaters January 01, 1970" thing. I could not find (the date) searching Apple's site, nor any other information ... UNTIL someone posted the answer to my query on another forum:

Why would they do this?

Did something happen on that day, which may involve this project somehow?

OK, After a mind numbing few hours of reading most posts Shocked to avoid the trout, I'm sure I missed something and find the boomerang trout flying at me.

I agree there is more to the crash than just a regular truck hitting the train. Also in agreement that is was deliberate. But the question to pose is who wold want to stop it?

So far there has been made mention to a scientist or someone associated with this project that is trying to stop the train from reaching its destination.

From some speculation, whatever the project is,it was shut down either because there was nothing more to learn, or it became too dangerous to keep active, but too valuable to destroy. Thus transporting everything to Wright Patt for secure storage (in theory).


Now not too much discussion was made regarding the NASA experiments with gifted children being trained to possibly communicate with aliens. Cool

Ok.... out on a huge "what if" limb

Did a child establish a connection with the alien(s)? Did this make the experiment dangerous (exchange of thoughts, ideas,sympathy)? Did the alien help the child develop his/her powers that were seen as dangerous.

OK, with that being said, was the alien and children put in a type of stasis and transported for storage . (potential use of the canister seen during the crash being thrown out),with all the material used.

Things to consider....
1- was the driver of the truck a scientist that had a moral problem with storing the alien and /or kid? Could the driver be one of the parents/relative of the child, trying to stop the government from taking their kid? (tipped off by someone in the program)
2 - was the truck loaded with explosives knowing the containers would protect them.

3 - Who is really in that rail car.....is it the alien with the kid on the outside helping or the alien helping the kid get out? or both working together in the car( it seems like there are two forces at work, one physical one telekinetic ).

Even longer limb..........Was Evelyn Minker (pos alias...see below) associated with the program? Did she keep personal records of the project stored away and found by Josh after she passed. (josh possibly found a name to contact and someone is telling him to be quiet about it)....Talked about previously I believe

4 - Assuming Josh is older (in his 40's), is there a potential he could have been that child? His memory somehow lost. Protected by Evelyn and raised as her own?Maybe we are seeing a journey of his life reconstructed and growing awareness (maybe explaining his attraction to really fkn ugly and random fish)... wow things you think of when you are tired... Dunce Dunce (I've only got two brain cells functioning right now, and one is chasing the other around with a knife)

5 - Was the rocketpoppeteer club a method used by the government/NASA to find this children for the experiments? After signing up, they were sent puzzles ( to help cpt cooper do battle) that scientists think only gifted kids could answer or answer a certain way? It should be interesting to see what membership items and tasks are sent to people now.

In regards to the computer and some parts in the train wreckage, possibly not being "era correct". The government had access to the latest and greatest technology 1-2 years before it was available to the public. Most companies will only reveal when it was publicly released.
