Always a little scary when an ARG uses names that exist in real life - those poor folks get contacted by new players (who can't figure out the person they are contacting are REAL and not in-game characters) so their phones and emails get swamped with reguests for information the person has NO IDEA what is happening - leading to the players demanding MORE information, etc.

Thanks for searching and pointing out there are REAL people with those names with NO CONNECTION to the game. I hope the other players pay attention.

What about Kim Rondon, the Director of Human Resources over at Aguatero Industries? A Google search turned up a few social networking profiles of real people.

I followed up Rondon in Facebook, Twitter etc but couldn't find any that had any obvious connection with the game.

On another note, it seems like one of the points of this game is to get people interested/informed about REAL WORLD water issues, hence the real world videos and things on Connor's site. Means even more that we need to be careful about who we contact, I guess

I sure do hope this IS, in fact, an actual game, and not just a stunt to get people interested in the water crisis. I mean, I'm all for saving the water and whatnot, I just hope this is actually going somewhere.

Yeah, the initial excitement of discovery and mysterious mail has sort of worn off. Something had better happen soon. They're likely waiting for more players.

may I just point out that on the protected wordpress post, he says something about how "people can't stop drinking their water" and he can't figure out why. A chemical, perhaps? Are they perhaps addicting people to their water?
