This are simply from Google Analytics, a website webmasters can use to track how many people visit their website. If you look through your cookies, you should have tons of these. Completely out of game.

About the Lens Crack! =P

Not sure if it's been brought up already in a previous post, but does the crack on the lens on the Super 8 website mean anything?

Also, not sure if there are other messages being hidden around the red letters that flash up. There are definitely odd patterns, but can anybody slow them down to better see them?

ive done some research and the "V" in ever on the film thing lines up with the line on the film line on the lens. if the other side of the "V" is mirrored it makes the Free Mason symbol. gordon cooper, and 3 of the other original 7 mercury astronaughts were free masons. idk if this has anything to do with it but i thought it was interesting.

Last tweet from San Diego was just posted:

Quote:
Goodbye, San Diego! And remember kids: Real Spacemen Love Rocket Poppeteers!

Starting to think that slogan might have some hidden info in it. Any ideas? They're sure using it a lot and in prominent ways. Are we being Popsicle brainwashed?

Site
might be updating now

I clicked on it and it just 'flashed'. Looked at the source and it's 'different' but seems not complete.

Current source of RocketPoppeteers.com Just refreshes a blank page every second, with some code to tell your browser to always grab the page from the server, instead of loading it from cache.

They're doing something. They seem to have borked an updated, though. I think we'll be seeing RP up and working tomorrow morning Very Happy

[edit] Looks like they've fixed it. We're back to a page without the "coming soon" message.

Seems like everyone is seeing different things at different times. Mine has had the 'check back" line there all day regardless of cache clearing..
But, i'd wager a guess that after coming out at the comic con with the truck, song, twitter, swag and tshirts plus the actual pops, with all the new interest generated they'll have to open the site soon .....(are you listening PM's??)

The site should open up soon, and when it does hopefully we will see what Mr. Perry and little Jimmy were so interested in.

My buddy on the ground at SDCC took a bunch of pics at my request. There are about 8 to go through in his photostream at flickr. Here's the link to one picture, browse backwards to see the rest:

He confirmed that there wasn't anything on the popsicle sticks, wrappers, or anything like that.

Wow, even the license plate surround is RP themed. I like little touches like that. I really like the custom paint job on the truck too, very retro.
