He just started following me at FE Twitter as well.

Since no one's mentioned it, I will: notice anything unusual about his Twitter profile pic...?

It's a photo of Gordon Cooper with sunglasses pasted over his face.

Our new friend Frank is definitely playing the game with us... if he's not IN it.

Noted oddities:

*his Twitter account is only 17 posts old, first post June 8th.
*his first tweet is to an account that no longer exists "damienaligheieri", if it ever did: "you're on deck"
*stranger still, a Googling of that name yields only two results: neither of which is the correct spelling.
*Across the entire internet, "Damien Aligheieri" doesn't exist as a valid search result. You don't see that every day.
*tried running an Anagram solver on the name in case it was a clue, but no game-breaking results. Noted the name contained "alien" and "image" but the remainder didn't make much sense.

No way to tell who "Frank" is at this point, but there's definitely ARG-based intent in the creation of this account.

Starting to think that slogan might have some hidden info in it. Any ideas? They're sure using it a lot and in prominent ways. Are we being Popsicle brainwashed?

Could it be conformation linking the "real" coop and his ufo therioes to the film/arg? I know we have already come to this conclusion but maybe we are missing a few more "real" spacemen? just a thought Confused

Also and completley oog: I watched a documentry titled "End of the line" last night. It was all about the lack of fish in the oceans due to over fishing. Didnt realise that some forms of cod are an endangered species! It was eye opening to say the least and would recomend anyone to watch it.

Franky is following me too. Would be nice if the mystery person stepped forward and identified themselves. Don't want another Meemi incident with all the new people stopping in. Ya know, I still don't get the whole twitter thing. I don't really care to know what goes on in other peoples lives every second of the day. Ah well, to each his/her own right.

Hmm I thought this so did the obvious and search RSLRP. Pretty much the top hit was Bosclassified http://www.bosdev.com/demo/BosClassifieds/classified.php/listing/2979/toys-hobbies/dolls/-o-tlgb- which I was initially excited over. However, the page was created in 2000 so OOG.

Anyone else get the feeling Frank is OOG (given the totally amateur shades-IG would have at least made an effort)

Frank is OOG.

I was hoping for a code in the slogan too but the there are too many discrepancies with the way it is written, like on the letter it has "remember, kids:" but nowhere else does it have the "," after remember, some times with some times without...

Let's think logically.

There are probably thousands of people out on the internet who are 'playing' this who are not on uF. Shocked

In the context of this type of movie promotion and thinking about the timeframe (what decade characters are living): 1) they are not going to have the time or need to "follow" players and 2) would they even use Twitter?

Just something to think about when you see something new. Does it fit within the scheme of the promotion and make sense within the scope of the story. Cool

Hey, that fake shades brousard also follows my twitter account. I don't know why but, the possibke "IG-ness " of this guy never came close to my mind before reading your comments. All probabilty points toward a very bored folk looking for some attention.

Just checked my twitter account and he's following me as well. I'm pretty sure it's OOG. Partially from the mentioning of the theory of it being Elliot in the trailer.

Captain Coop Action Figure

I wonder if Captain Coop will have an action figure? Or a sweet RP Rocket ship with the little plastic army-man like figures. A quality RP ship would be pretty sweet and a nice addition to my collection! They could even have retro packaging. Maybe the website will have a shop like Slusho did? Oh the possibilities!

No, that's pretty cool. Where were those sold?

The Slusho Enterprise was part of the 'decorate an Enterprise model' event, much like this year's 'decorate a Vader helmet' event. I believe the ships were auctioned off at the end of it.
