I put mine as Frost (old nickname) I realize now that I should've gone with a MST3K reference...maybe I'll do another one lol.

Anyways, I still think that the next big clue is going to come from the coupons and that we probably wont see anything happen till then. Sad The wait will be killing me.

What makes you think that's "our" moon in the Poppeteers image? I can't find an image of our moon that has a crater in that same spot.

Moons of Saturn, maybe?

(Incidentally, Iapetus is mentioned in 2001: A Space Odyssey, as the moon that Dave found the monolith on.)

It certainly wouldn't hurt to try, I'd say go for it.

Well like I said the night the newspaper came out that It should be like a Decoder ring. The time frame is right when you could get a decoder ring in cereal boxes.

also Don't forget to "Drink more Ovaltine"

Yeah, but if it was "just" a decoder ring, they'd all be identical, and there'd be no point in asking for our astronaut names. Not that decoder rings wouldn't be awesome! Very Happy

But yeah, I'm betting for a badge/id/certificate or similar, possibly with some kind of code or login or something included, or scribbled on the back.

Is it free to send the coupon from Germany to Minot? I think not, that's why I don't do it. I'd like if it wasn't an exclusive thing for those who sent the coupon in (like a unique code for each person or something like that)

IMO, I would just send it in since your only out the cost of shipping a small envelope. But it is your call and There has been others from outside the US that sent it in.

Don't worry Darkreaperluke, even if it does turn out to be something unique, I know from past ARGs that we always share the info/codes. Razz <3

I'm glad someone did First Class! I was >< close to sending mine overnight LOL.

I'm thinking that if the p.o box is forwarded, we may not see anything till the end of the week or early next week. Sad Hopefully we'll have more before then LOL

I hate to be that guy...but it really could be months before we get anything. The movie doesn't come out until Summer 2011. Cloverfield updates were sometimes months apart. It would be cool if it kept going at this pace but I'm not very optimistic about that. Also, it's been less than a week since the newspaper clipping was found and not everyone has had a chance to get caught up to that point (just the obsessed ones like us). In my experience, the marketing people behind ARGs like to send mass mailings rather than individuals as they get the addresses. I think we'll all get our stuff around the same time.

BTW I chose Arg Trailhead for my astronaut name. Very Happy
