I finally managed to send off my coupon...
Gotta love the postal service. Asked about higher priority shipping, and it was priced ~$15, for 5 business days. Regular mail? ~$1.00, for 4-10 business days.
I think the choice was clear Razz

I hope this leads to something! =D

Ok, maybe this is nothing, but I noticed on the Rocket Poppeteers ad that they refer to Gordon Cooper as "Coop." I looked at all his biography stuff linked by wikipedia, and his nickname is listed as "Gordo". I don't ever see him referred to as "Coop."

OK I am not sure if I am doing this right but this was posted earlier:

It was really more me commenting how detailed Abrams gets with his movie advertisement. Most likely we'll get usernames and passwords to RP.com...that's my guess, anyway.

I have a good feeling that we'll get something back in the mail. Maybe codes to access the site? Maybe some sort of certificate? Maybe lollipops with messages on the sticks after we eat them? Whatever it is, I can't wait...

Quite honestly, whenever I get something in the mail from an ARG, I get excited. I damn near crapped myself from all the cool stuff I got from the Dark Knight viral.

Yeah, I'm also a little 'worried' that everyone else will be in on something super exciting ages before I get something back in the mail. By the way, how likely is it that there will be sent something outside of USA?

They can, if they will. Cloverfield shop delivered oversea, and Star Trek also sent stuff. I've got from another non-JJ ARGs running in US also Swags.

Good guess Guest.

I think this is true as well. The site will become operational sometimes after they send out codes and what not.

again, just like Guest, its my guess.

Heh, well I've been around since the ILoveBees days... Smile there's been a LOT of ARGing in the 6 years since then!
But there are some people with much higher posts-per-day counts... check the memberlist and sort by highest total posts - compare the join dates. Some people have thousands just in a couple of years. That's a little more nuts, hehe

On the subject of sending Rocket Pops through the mail- yeah, my guess is NO.

HOWEVER, its possible that the pops WILL be manufactured and distributed, and maybe we'll get COUPONS instead.

not that i know but i really didnt think we would be getting pops the sign up membership thing reminds me of stuff u signed up for in old comics where you would get a membership card or a decoder ring kinda thing so thats what i expect might be sent out to us

but thats just me plus the ad sounds like the pops are popscicles
but again thats just me

plus i would rather have a decoder ring or something cool like from the why so serious citizens for batman stuff
