How do you even know we'll get anything after sending it it in?

My guess is that a site will pop up soon with a list of registered Poppeteers, but I don't think we'll get anything from them.

Haha.. I saw that too, when I was creeping Embarassed

Lol I saw it too when i was looking around. At first i thought the website at which they made it was realted to Super 8 since i couldnt find any stores but when i looked further..I found it on ebay, amazon.... Oh well...
On the mass mailing issue, wouldnt they give it a month or 2 before they closed the address? That would make sence if the movie is a year away, they gave averyone plenty of time to participate, meaning that we dont need the info for the rocket popeteers website if it opens tomrrow...im betting on the 22nd hour...But ill be on till midnight to see if anything happens

You know, even if they do a mass mailing , theres no way everyone is going to get it on the same day. So if that is the logic behind the theory of the mass mailing, i dont know how much water that holds. I mean here in Florida youll get something from the other side of the country faster than something in state, tho ive never understood how thats possible. But since the mail goes to regional sorting plants before its sent to its final destination then its pretty logical that people that live in areas around North Dakota are going to receive it before, say, myself here in Orlando,FL.. Just figure, no matter how its done, some are gonna receive it before others do

But you have to remember, even if it arrives at different times, it's still less work to only have to send things out once. It'd be annoying for them to have to keep checking for new mail and then sending new stuff out.

And I'm from Florida too. That's funny that three of us are all within like 2 hours of each other.

i wasnt saying that they wouldnt do a mass mailing. i was just taking issue with the notion that some had that the reason they would do this was so everyone would get it at the same time. thats all i was trying to point out. sorry for the miscommunication there
