Doesn't it seem pretty weird though that I was able to get that one response, three days later, but have gotten no response to any further emails?

Not if it was programmed to send one bot email reply and no more. Otherwise game players would inundate the mailbox asking for clues, etc. One reply gives you feedback on your game-playing initiative, but doesn't encourage an ongoing pen pal relationship, as it were. Just a guess, though.

To my mind, that, dear friends, is one of the differences between a classic ARG and a transmedia/viral experience, because in a true ARG, the PMs would be prepared for the inundation, we would all be getting replies, and building relationships with characters.

(Yes, I sent a perfect email to the admin at rocketpoppeteers which has gone totally unanswered. I'm not bitter. I just recognize this campaign for what it is and what it is not.)

has anyone noticed that the X's on the printouts align in two different ways. The first we know of, but the second, we havent done. the second way is so that the poppeteers add is half way down the 2nd page, the lines underline new things here. Can some one figure out the message, My comp is all screwy.

Im sure this has already been done pretty early on, but I double checked for you and it doesnt actually line up with words... or line up with enough to make any sort of message.

Nah, I would wait to see if it comes back up with anything changed or added. Right now it could be server problems or something else on their host's side.

Might keep an eye on the scariestthingieversaw.com site also though.

They might be adding some clues on both sites. Let's hope so.
