I was just thinking, in the trailer, it said something was being moved to Ohio from Area 51. That doesn't mean the crash happened in Ohio. Maybe someone from the site in Ohio that this something was being moved to knew about what was being moved, and intercepted it before it got there. I don't think there would be a direct route from Area 51 to Ohio, so this Derailment does seem plausible to be ours. Then again I don't know if SS and JJ would base something in there movie off of real life happenings Wink

Does this make any sense?

I totally agree that we can't be sure it is already in Ohio for the crash. You are right that they would not take a completely direct route to Wright-Pat, but I can't get on board with a Florida derailment. That is just to far away to be feasible for me. If you check out the first page of the "Where is the railway?" thread, Ketos did some awesome research as to the possible routes the train may have taken, based on rail junctions and varying grades of railways that it would have to travel on.

I know I know, what I meant was that with all this speculation about the train derailing in florida and Gordon Cooper, it just gets a little weird, thats all. Smile

Yea, with all the ways our government wastes money needlessly, i totally wouldnt be surprised if this were the case. We're so dangerous afterall, us subversive types. The money is much better spent this way than being wasted watching for, say, islamic extremists or militia groups. Yea money well spent

Wow people, that newspaper is really awesome - you can find tons of JJ related things. But I think, the most are just our selective pereception.

Anyway, my small contribution:

"Published Every Day Except Sunday". 7-1=6. Just a Slusho and RocketPoppeteer number... Well, forget it. Just overinterpretations.

Is is possible the 'thing' was transported by ship or aircraft to florida?

And in the trailer the engine clearly is yellow in the front and the rest of the engine is a darker color which is the same color scheme as the Louisville and Nashville railroad.
Summit County Ohio. doh! Idea

Cool find Dark Flow! Thats only about 2 hours from my house. Notice what appears to be a big 8 that is in the lower right side of the picture. There is even a mention of an "Elevator" like the one in the background of the trailer. Unfortunately I doubt they based the train wreck after an actual event. I am sure this will be one of those typical movie train accidents that will be blocked off from the outside by the government until they get their part of the mess cleaned up.

BTW, Frankenmuth is a very nice place, it's like a small slice of Germany with a Gatlinburg TN feel to it.
